The next two football games are what is known as homecoming games. Homecoming is a football game accompanied by a dance, where a king, queen, and royal court are crowned, former ‘royalty’ and other alumni are invited home, and school spirit runs rampant.

This year, McKinley and Dalton are co-hosting a combined homecoming dance to be held in McKinley’s gym. All students, past and present, plus their dates, are invited to the dance. Dress is formal. The New Directions and Warblers have been invited to perform at the dance.

Last year’s homecoming queen will crown the new 2018 homecoming queen. The homecoming king will be selected from boys from both McKinley and Dalton.

You have until the end of the day Friday the 19th to cast your ballot. Each character, regardless of age, will get one vote for king and one for queen and votes should be cast via that character account.

Royalty will be announced at the dance, which in the timeline will be Saturday, October 20th at 7 PM- royalty will be posted at 8 PM EST on Saturday. (The real time equivalent of the dance as a whole is 7-10 PM)

Posts about the dance can being Friday at noon EST and last until Sunday at noon. Regular posts should be saved until Sunday afternoon, and only event related posts should be on dash between the start and end times of the event. All post types are welcome, in particular homecoming attire, music that might play, and especially paras. Tag anything event related with #as4event and #as4hoco.
