#i love this arc so much i want to make a textpost about how great it was #archie comics #jughead #asexuality things #seriously it was hilarious and wonderful #literally the first thing the new writer does when he gets the gig is tell this #like three issue ace-angle first crush story (with sabrina the teenage witch btw)#to establish like as definitively as possible that romance is not a thing thats going to be happening #but that doesnt mean you cant have fun with romance-style comedy plotlines #anyway it was great and i loved it and im confused why theyre not doing an all new sabrina series yet

i wont say that knowing i was ace in high school would have changed my life in any huge way, but knowing any major fact about yourself like that makes living life and being comfortable with yourself way easier

and for that reason i get really happy any time i see teenagers who are aware of/comfortable with their asexuality. 14 year olds who not just know what asexuality is but feel comfortable labeling themselves as such. 16 year olds who are totally open to explaining it to their peers and families. im so proud of all of you, whether youre out or not. you make me so happy and optimistic for the future, young aces are wonderful you deserve the world
