Asexuowl Shirts

I get the feeling that a lot of people liked the “Asexuowl” design I made. It was originally inspired by a friend of mine who was having a bad day a couple months ago about their sexual and romantic orientation, so I’m glad others liked it too. In this coming week I will be working on it as a shirt/sweater design to put up on Society 6, since a few people have commented or put in their own tags that it would make a cool shirt design. I would probably redo it in a more vector-look, (it wasn’t originally planned as a shirt design, but I guess it is easily transferable) so while it would be very similar, it would probably be just a teeny bit different with more solid colors so it prints on the fabric better.

I don’t usually make designs for clothing, although I’m starting to see the fun in it again. I kind of wanted to take a long break from that since it was my grueling job back in early 2013 to spring of 2014. I was plotting, peeling/picking with an x-acto blade, and hot-pressing vinyl designs into clothes at like 50 cents above minimum wage mall store, (many days all by myself with often partially broken equipment, when customers wanted multiple shirts or complex designs within an hour) and thankfully that place is closed now. Oh, AND they wanted me to not count my breaks into my hour logs, but if I didn’t have a chance to take any, I could log them AS my hours, at least? Good riddance!

As long as someone else is doing all the print work for me though at this point, I can be game. ^_^
