Hey so I hate to ask but there's a few things I need help in getting for my son's school year.

Okay so Joe with a crush, I’m not saying the man has no game at all because…well, look at him. I think he can definitely be a flirty, charming little shit when he wants to be.
But I do think that when it’s someone he really likes and wants to pursue something serious with, his awkward/nervous side tends to take the lead. And dare I say he can be a little insecure at times? He’s been very clear over the years that his confidence on the field comes from practice and preparation, but what happens when he meets a girl that he isn’t prepared for?
Favorite whump trope?
Oh this is hard. Love the hiding an injury scenario and the whumpee thinking they are alone/unloveable/uncared for and then eventually is just loved on by one person or a group.

Here is a headcanon for Isaac that is canon in Kintsugi, but I have only ever hinted at it in the text:
I think Isaac's back and maybe other easily-concealed-but-hard-to-protect places are covered in scars from his dad. By the time Isaac is bitten, broken bones and other major injuries would've been healed over in such a way that Magical Girl Werewolf Transition wouldn't "fix" them. Scott still has the scars on his face after he's bitten (even if it's because the FX crew didn't bother covering them) and his jaw is still uneven, so let's extend that to say things that the body isn't actively trying to fix remain that way. So on Isaac's back are spiderwebs of white and silver scars and burn marks and jagged lines from curling up in a little ball, back exposed. And I think he tries to keep his back to the wall everywhere he goes, checking for exits and keeping tabs on as many people as possible, but especially if he's shirtless. I don't think he's embarrassed, he just hates people paying attention to him and doesn't want to answer questions or see sympathetic looks.
