Obviously, I am still alive and getting a bit better.
I’m forcing myself to lay down whenever the pain starts to ratchet to 7 (it’s tending to sit at 6 or so) to avoid another trip to the ED.
Sometime today (Monday), the OTC version of lidocaine patches along with some thick silk tape to keep them from slipping off due to movement, thanks to the free next day delivery a lot of Prime options have now. The back of the neck’s kind of a horrible place for patches, because even the smallest turns of your head cause them to mess up. That thick silk tape worked amazingly well to keep them on.
Hopefully, that and the lesser quality CBD oil I have (it’s still decent quality, just not Canna Trading level) should keep me semi-functional till the medicinal THC card turns up.
Y’know, sometimes I question the way RP ended up going for Ashe, as it rapidly got far, far away from her original concepts. There are sometimes I wonder if the dual identity thing isn’t insane, then sometimes when I see her in that look and can’t see anything else happening, ultimately.
While the colouring is a bit off for it, Saber looks pretty good with scruff on his face. I just wish I could make it a brighter red.
These were both taken at the Barheim Bar & Grill event. It’s a Tuesday/Friday evening RP event for Dalmascans, their allies, and their Garlean oppressors - due to it being in one of the less rundown areas of Rabanastre.
And I got the emote. I also got CRP and WVR to 66 in the process.
I’m still catching up on my backlog of DoH quests. Most of them were left at around level 25, and are now up to the level 40 quests. CRP and WVR are on the level 55 quest.
Insomnia
I’ve always had trouble sleeping. It’s been something of a nearly life-long issue.
Unfortunately, that’s gotten worse over the past two months. I’ll end up being away for over 24 hours, sometimes over 48 hours, though I will crash for 12 - 20 hours quite a bit before the 72-hour mark.
Sometimes it’s a lot more benign, where it just takes till near mid-day to finally get some sleep, for at least 3 - 6 hours.
But the being unable to sleep for a day or two at a time is getting more and more frequent, as are times when I’ll barely sleep for 3 hours if that.
And there’s not an available somnology appointment for a couple months. X.x
By the By...
The new Witcher Netflix series is fantastic.
I spent all of last night watching it while I was rendering something; I ended up having to let my PC just sit and work, so I loaded up the PS4. I haven’t used it in months, so every game I wanted to play had a tonne of downloading to do.
So I loaded up Netflix, and just dove in.
It was worth the second night of no sleep.
