More and more films are getting turned into TV series and Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island is next on the list.
HBO and Paramount Television are in talks to make the show, currently called Ashecliffe (the name of the asylum in the film), with Scorsese set to direct the pilot.

Deadline is reporting that HBO, working with Paramount Television, is looking to bring the land of Shutter Island to cable. The series would be callsed ASHECLIFFE, the name of the mental asylum of the book, and would take place prior to the movie.
