Our actual wedding anniversary is in May (and only 5-7 people know the exact date), however, June 24th is a significant day in our relationship so, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE! Our first year of marriage was life-changing, eye-opening and VERY challenging. I learned so much about how to pray as a wife and honestly, what it means to be a God-fearing wife. Our parents, grandparents and every bridesmaid and groomsmen in our wedding are Godsends. Each of them stepped up in different ways to be there for our family when we needed them most. I learned that it REALLY takes a village to raise a child and to help cultivate a strong marriage. You cannot do it alone, you will need help and that’s okay. Jason, thank you for keeping me strong when I know you really weren’t all that strong yourself. Thank you for praying for us through the moments I was beginning to lose faith. This journey of life won’t always be easy, but it has been beautiful with you.
