Get to know Admin

Hi all! We want to thank you for being such a wonderful community around this blog, and figured since it has been running for more than a year that we would finally introduce ourselves properly.

There are two of us currently running the blog, to make sure you can interact with your favorite characters and create a community around our favorite otome game.

I’m Retsuko- I make and write most of the content that goes up on this blog. I’ve had lovely interactions with some of you and I love getting your questions for the Princes and Valets! I’m the personality between bringing all the characters to your feed and putting out themed content for holidays. I also run a couple other themed feeds, such as @theoneandonlybella for twilight content, @darlingzelda as my personal page, and @lullabyofwisdom for art content.

I pretty much do the background stuff to make the blog run smoothly, and I make admin posts when needed. I don’t have any other side blogs, but I enjoy helping Retsuko make the characters come to life on this one.

do you have any headcanons for any of your drow ocs? I’m on a dnd drow phase and it’s BAD man 🤣 the downside is not many people write about drow or even drow men.

His hair is more white than the normal silver-gold tones.

He's not much of a fan of alcohol, he's a lightweight.

He knows Drow sign language!

He's not much of a fan of fighting, but he prefers to use bows and arrows than fighting up close.

Vevmis

He was first given his first weapon as a baby - his favourite dagger with a ruby wedged into the hilt. He likes to call it Lady Forlorn.

His siblings joked he went to bed each night tucking the dagger in to sleep beside.

He talks in his sleep, and sometimes he kicks his feet as if he's running/fighting someone.

Because his family are seen as a well known/respected house in the Underdark, he speaks High Drow.

Ardul

He is an avid tea enjoyer, his favourites are mint or nettle tea.

He can speak different dialects of Drowic: both High and Low, but speaks Low Drowic with a High Drowic accent.

He is a linguist and can speak and write up to fifteen languages.

Glaumur, his familiar, is not what he seems. The townspeople believe he made a deal with some unearthed demon, trapped in a bird's body.

Some think Ardul sold his soul for endless knowledge.

Constructive criticism for tags incoming 🫣

As much as I am LOVING all your asks and answers, I'm worried for people who will be new to the fandom or who aren't interested in asks (or if these blogs ever decline in popularity) that we are leaving quite the legacy in the regular tags related to these characters. It might be best to use one tag for asks and let the tags related to the character be left out so that it's easier to hunt down fanfics and art and event recaps etc for people later.

You have a good point, I don't even know why I use so many tags in the first place. Maybe because I get upset when I don't see enough posts related to Leon, you, me, and the whole planet knows how popular Leon is in the fandom (I mean that sarcastically). so I use these tags to increase the content related to him, even if it is trivial... but you are right!
