the premise for Court of Darkness event stories are all so weird. Like what do you mean that MC tried to levitate and failed and in doing so branded herself along with a voo doo doll with an aphrodisiac type mark that needs to be relieved intermittently via the doll otherwise she will become a moaning mess????

Not sure if you guys know this already but here’s an interesting fact about the Princes from Court of Darkness-
All of their surnames, the countries they represent, are variations on the Seven Deadly Sins. The Princes are also made to embody said values by their personalities or what they value.
Avari = Avarice (greed)
Qelsum = Pride
Akedia = Sloth
Voleri = Gluttony
Luxure = Lust
Invidia = Envy
Ira = Ire (wrath)
Obviously it’s intentional, because the deadly sin is meant to embody the worst trait of every prince. Guy is obsessed with power and control, Toa thinks himself to be better than everyone around him, Lynt is incredibly lazy and doesn’t really do things for himself, Rio consumes an unnatural amount of food, Fenn is overly sexual with anyone and everyone regardless of whether he cares about them at all, Roy is constantly trying to outdo everyone around him in perfection and gets easily jealous over trivial things, and Lance is indignant and overly angry towards pretty much everyone to the point where he prefers solitude over the company of others.
Not sure why it took me so long to figure it out, but I think this is a cool little easter egg on the part of the devs.
