Hey, I'm sorry if this is a weird thing to ask about, but if you're using any vpn atm, what vpn is working? Because Kaspersky just shat itself and is no longer working for discord and youtube, and so I am looking things up in a panic.

okay. so . i have like a couple of options for you... these are for mobile only. and stuff that is on google play ALSO from experience of discussing vpns with my mother... sometimes a vpn that is dead for me may not be dead for u. it's weird as shit. i will give u a few options that includes not perfect ones only because they may work just fine for you and bc having a couple vpns is usually the best in these trying times!

star vpn - actually works decently, not many ads, HOWEVER. can just fucking die and then revive and die again. i'd say good to have around just in case but NOT the most reliable

NashVPN - decent, no ads, but. limited traffic each month. depends on how much stuff u do on ur phone basically. has died on me once tho...

batya vpn - very good but has like a week of free trial. perhaps consider it like a last resort if nothing else works (before u find a better option)

these are all a bit cringe but better than most, and at least they WORKED (unlike so many others)

now onto the best one so far

4. samsung max - scarily good. has country list to choose from. doesn't slow shit down. NO ADS? can open any app (even the ones that hate vpns). idk what's up with that ... it may die eventually but ??? truly the best vpn we've had so far. me and my mother have been using it for ~a month which is honestly the longest anything survived

(the only fun thing is that i didn't download it from google play, my mother sent me it as a file bc a neighbour shared it with people in a telegram groupchat... so hey what if my file is different? i doubt it but i thought i should mention that)

now if you want desktop vpn the only good shit i ever seen/used is zapret vpn. very seksi very good. some sites are slow but this baby can run umamusume and load youtube so i have no qualms with it

edit: wait also- for desktop and specifically in browser vpns - vpnly is good! although it like?? doesn't work on fireworks for me, but does work on chrome?? on firefox is have setupvpn but it's slow as shit and has a time limit, i only ever touch it if i NEED it (bc some sites somehow need double vpn combo to actually work... idk idk don't ask me)

EDIT: ok apparently mysterious neighbour file is a cracked version of 'samsung max' that doesn't require premium subscriptions and shit. i can share it with anyone who wants it. obv it may still die one day or whatever- but yeah, the google play version doesn't work as well!

warning this is a hater post, don't read if you like that anime, you can't change my mind about it, etc etc

oh lord is there anything i even mildly enjoyed? i can't remember... lucky for me i started to actually forget most aspects of this anime, but i still hate it... so while my descriptions/reasons might be vague i know a couple of years ago i could give you all kinds of details about it

anyways so

on a very surface level, aka smth that i could ignore - i heard of this anime bc people were hyping it up saying it was the next coming of yuri on ice. to me this is like the highest rating you can give to anime, everyone were geeking out about how gay and canon everything is - i watch that garbage .... it's the most boring ass nothing sauce vague bs i can find anywhere else. YAWN. literally who the fuck cares how is any of this special ?? don't compare this weak ass shit to yoi. yes the main 2 teens have some vague 'gay' talk once maybe... okay.... what's new. to me they are like besties and i couldn't even actually see them romantically involved lmao. which is wild bc i went into this anime expecting to love this ship?? alright. u know.. that's a personal preference i guess the fucking uh pink and green guy? ugh i again dont even remember anything worth mentioning... to me it was like 'a ship that exists bc they are 2 males near each other'. with some genuinely pathetic queerbait jokes once or twice. okay...... literally whatever. to me pink guy had more hots for that paedophile when they were younger the way he was stressing over him LOLLL never saw him care that much about green guy and vice versa HAHA

but hey this is just my ship preferences and my general issue with people saying smth is canon and me learning it's actually not. i hate that dearly and i also love hating popular ships.. so.. u know! not my cup of tea i could have genuinely ignore this whole ordeal.

next point. characters are so very fucking.. whatever. just like with it's 'gay rep' the way they portray characters felt to me like i was back in 2012 or smth, watching anime and consuming all kinds of fairly problematic tropes. oh my god the pink haired guy is fem and they make joke of him being a girl, oh my god the ugly character is gross and won't ever get a girl. etc. it fels so fucking uninspired, and just genuinely cringe. so many little tropes that to me personally feel at this point overused and unfunny were all over the place. they could have been more interesting they could have treated that 'only non conventionally attractive' guy right, but no... it's funnier to make him a butt of the joke for Nth time? okay.

morals/plot were pissing me off. the entire time i was thinking this anime will do smth interesting and fun and then nothing was happening. the entire story became 'uhh skateboarding is fun with friends wahoo' which is FINE... i know plenty of anime exist with similar kind of idea. however... it was absolutely diabolical to have a whole scene dedicated to red haired guy watching that tv show interview thing,,, and they straight up have a whole convo about how this person who is making smth for the sport loves doing it bc they get to contribute to the sport despite not being someone who competes in it. i was in AWE. when the mc had his sad arc, felt like his friends were better than him and all that, it was the most fitting and cool thing to see. i was so ready to experience this plot development of him and his friends realising/proving that hey 1. you don't have to be the best at this thing to like it, to be part of it, to enjoy it. 2. every sport and hobby has so many moving parts, without so many people all these things wouldn't happen i expected appreciation for those who make sport equipment, who film it, who just help the events happen, etc..... and then.. nothing.... we came back to 'friendship is magic' bro to me this such a fumble, such a boring ass thing to waste time on. mc is hardly appreciated for the skill he possesses... mind you he is the only person to straight up craft skateboards this way? huh?? what the fuck

going along with the plot/my expectations thing - the fucking .. paedophile's assistant guy? when he showed up i was convinced the story will let him win the main competition. it made total sense, he suffered enough, his boss is a paedophile psycho, quite frankly he was most deserving of winning and then rubbing it into that freak's face. and then........ he just leaves.... shows up for 2 seconds... sees that the freak 'learned how to enjoy skateboarding again' (or some shit) and ?? that was enough?? what. why? it felt pretty much like nothing happened, once again as if such great potential to do smth interesting was lost ??

speaking of that poor victim.. watching him suffer the entire time is just painful. him being totally into the abuse in the last scenes was weird and like an excuse to make more jokes at his expense later idk watching the paedophile quite literally threaten people's lives, harm them physically and nothing being done about it ?? insane. like? i can't even comprehend why this had to be a thing for a character they fucking forgive in the end + the whole thing of the freak saying he will just push the blame onto his assistant but in the end he was like 'haha no i wouldn't'??? 1st of all i don't fucking believe you, 2nd of all idk how this emotional manipulation is even cute. i am tired. is this anime psychological horror? if so maybe then i'd be cool with it, but no this anime is just a god damn joke most of the time, so why this shit is even here

oh !! speaking of no justice ! the whole fucking plot line of how paedophile is potentially in trouble because his business is being investigated. and there is this stunning female character in charge of it........... love the way NOTHING HAPPENED. it just fucking ?? ended. literally they told her 'oh well oops we got it figured out'. THE ENTIRE TIME I PRAYED THAT IF HE DOESNT DIE HE AT LEAST GOES TO JAIL AND NO?? NOTHING???? so this entire b-plot literally was a complete waste of time that did NOTHING. that character also has 0 impact on the story.. WHY IS SHE HERE???

oh right the only aspect i kind liked was the female characters. they all seemed pretty decently written for all 0.5 seconds of screentime they got. but yea again wasted potential since moms were there just aiding their male kids, and that detective woman was i guess just there for fake drama

smaller issue i had the entire time ,,, why is this gang grown ass men hanging out with kids. it's just sorta strange. also where yall's parents. esp that youngest kid oh my god i couldn't stop thinking about how horrible his parents must be to really not give a fuck about him. i know it was sorta a joke that he is this spoiled/assertive kid. but be fr. why is he out and about when he should be doing his god damn homework.. did he even have to be this young? like i could forgive 2 high schoolers being picked up by older pro skaters and u know cute dynamic happening... why is there a toddler oh my god

oh and OF COURSE. THE THING I WON'T EVER FORGIVE... A FUCKING PAEDOPHILE CHARACTER HAHAHAHAH oh my god the way he acted around kids was so fucking gross and weird, the way he touched that poor blue mc......... dude there is nothing in this world that can make those scenes okay to me... literally touching a child all over. Dear God. not to mention constant need to harm people and putting them in near fucking death scenarios. that shit is insane. why was he like that with that child, why was he calling a teen 'his eve' while he is 'the adam' IT'S SO FUCKING GROSS. like i said before i legit was praying they fucking kill him in the end, like his stupid ass behavior finally leads to smth good happening aka he fumbles and falls to his death or at least gets so hurt he is out of the game forever. which would be pretty damn nice considering the sheer amount of harm he has done to others already but nope. NO. NOT AT ALL. HE GETS TO BE FORGIVEN BY THE PLOT, TO JOIN THE GANG, TO DILLY DALLY AND SKATEBOARD FOR FUN. WHAT THE FUCK. JUST KILL ME SERIOUSLY YOU CAN'T BE FR

there is probably more ^_^ i really can't remember everything i fear. but i carried this hate ever since i watched this garbage ass anime. cannot stand it, cannot look at those fucking characters, hear about them, etc. whenever i see any good or even neutral mention of this anime i need to quickly scroll otherwise i am in hell
