Oh my goodness yes your account!!! So many people will idolize Nesta.

I've gotten judgement for saying how i think it's totally fair that Feyre doesn't have any painting of her in the house in ACoFaS.

Like, Feyre was abused by Nesta for years before the beginning of the events of the novels. And Nesta had not changed the patterns of her behavior. So... Yeah she didn't want to take the time to create a portrait of her abuser and display it in her home.

Omg yes, I had an arguement with someone on here, I think its in one of my blogs who said well why'd Nesta wanna stay in a house where there's a painting of everyone, even their deadbeat dad but her.... Like are you being fr 💀

1st of all its Feyre's house, and Feyre's painting, whoever she chooses to paint and hang in her house is her decision 😭

2nd, sure Feyre still cares about her and wants her to stop spiralling and get better, do better in life cus she's kind and big hearted like that, but why the hell would she paint and hang the picture of her mean rude abusive older sister who was her bully and abuser who abused her throughout her whole life, to the point she had suicidal thoughts IN HER VOICE telling her no one would care if she died, had her self esteem become so low that she doesn't think she's pretty or attractive even after knowing there are 3 High Lords, not normal high fae, Hih Lords who want her 😭✋🏻 and then she came into her new life with her new family and began ruining the atmosphere there too by being rude and mean and abusive to everyone there, everyone who she loves and cares for and calls her family. And then made shocked pikachu face and started antagonising everyone because they didn't just stay quiet and take it like Feyre usually does, they called her out or stopped interacting with her ( "isolating her" ) or they retaliated and she got shocked again because her whole life she'd been a mean rude abusive bully and a jerk and an asshole to Feyre and Feyre never even so much as spoke back to her so she just realised that not everyone will stand there and quietly take her shit because not everyone is her lil sister who craves for her love and validation, and that, people can in fact very much be just as rude or at least hold up a mirror to her face.

Don't even get me started on the whole "Feyre brainwashed ic into hating Nesta sm that Cassian, her mate, started being rude to her for no reason in their first meeting" statement ✋🏻

Yo, hit me with all your Bloodlines ramblings - I too have the BL brain rotation and a strong desire to punch TRC until its the ending we deserved and not... whatever that was

maybe it's taken me four months to answer this. maybe i forgot about the ask. but i will answer now anyway.

As much as I'd love to ramble about my next gen headcanons I've come up with I'll stick to complaints I have about stuff that is actually in canon:

(spoilers for the whole series obviously)

The whole series started because Jill was being targeted and Lissa wanted to change the family law. At the end of the series there was no update on that. In fact, Jill was rescued and just brought back to Court IIRC. I haven't read TRC for a long time and... I don't plan on reading it again for a while so someone else will have to confirm that for me.

And on that note of overarching world plots beyond Sydney... the vaccine?? Massive running plot but it was just left hanging. This series doesn't do "the reader can decide" so why are we left to theorise the outcome of the vaccine???

Now onto Declan... okay so I know a lot of people are angry that he ended up with Adrian and Sydney. I get it. But let's just talk about the long term implications of them raising him:

The trio (+ Eddie + Daniella) are living in human society in Maine. To the Moroi world, Declan is six months younger than he actually is - is this true for the humans too??

I have problems with Neil's abandoning Declan I've complained about before...

Will Adrian and Sydney tell Declan about who he really is? Will he become a guardian? These are very important questions to me that hold a lot of weight in planning my next gen world!!!!!

Think about it. You tell a child that he is adopted. Fine. But if you told Declan that he is adopted? That has problems if he mentions that to other people. Because why would they have adopted a child, they weren't exactly in the best situation for it? Alternatively if Declan knows he's adopted but he's also told he can't tell anyone or something like that he'd definitely be confused about why and again probably end up telling someone.

So the question is then when does he get told about who he really is??? I do have my own theories about when that happens but I'll leave them out of this post since they're related to other characters I'm not talking about right now lol.

Still on Declan: is he going to a Moroi academy? Immediate response would be yes if it wasn't for his situation?? Like whether people know the truth or not, his birth will still be controversial - son of two dhampirs or son of a Moroi and a human. I like to think that growing up with Eddie made Declan super determined to become a guardian himself so he begs his parents to go to a Moroi academy even though they weren't too keen on that.

Also Daniella. Is she just going to live with her son forever? Get the woman a job or a sugar daddy.

And finally.... as I have said a million times before.... WHERE DOES ADRIAN GET BLOOD IN MAINE?

no seriously. you can NOT make this a major plot point in vampire academy with Rose and Lissa and then just FORGET about it with Sydney and Adrian.

Hi bri! You're post on dyscalculia made so much sense to me! I struggle with severe adhd and math literally makes me cry bc I get so frustrated that I don't get it and feel dumb. Do you know of any accommodations colleges can give you as someone with adhd?

Hi there! This is highly dependent on the college itself and where you live. Not every college offers the same accommodations, so please check with your student resource center/student disability center to see how they can accommodate you specifically!

Before I begin: You will often need to provide proof of your disability to receive official accommodations, which typically includes an letter from a licensed professional which not only provides your diagnosis but a why they did and when they diagnosed you. They should include a letterhead with their information, so it can be verified that they are legitimate.

For Dyscalculia (it is its own disorder separate from ADHD as a heads up), there are a few common accommodations you may be able to request. A few accommodation examples for Dyscalculia.

Extra time on tests

Copies of sample problems/study material

Math Center tutoring (usually available to anyone as a heads up)

I also highly advise those of you with Dyscalculia to take advantage of any office hours that your professor may have. If your college has a tutoring center, PLEASE use it.

I have also heard of rare cases that a student has been able to get a math course waived, but this is a very difficult accommodation to receive.

For ADHD accommodations, common ones include:

Lecture recording

Extra time on exams

Extra time for assignments

Ability to take exams in less distracting location

Copies of presentations/lecture material

If you are not professionally diagnosed and are not in the position to pursue one, still absolutely check with your professors whether or not they can offer any sort of accommodations.

I personally was not diagnosed with ADHD until after university, but I still asked for accommodations for things I struggled with. I am also Dysgraphic (which I will be sharing information on in the next few weeks). Because Dysgraphia physically affects my writing and is painful, I am an extremely messy and slow note taker. Which was further exacerbated by my ADHD which made it very hard to keep up with my notes while also paying attention to the material.

I had several professors allow me to record their lectures and one professor who did not want to be recorded, let me type my notes on my laptop instead.
