oh and btw our human zestial is named Kareem Moustafa and he will both inspire Silas in his work and become concerned when he seems to be taking things too far (think some aspects of dr. lanyon from the original Jekyll & Hyde book)

and for the fic! we're gonna be taking points of inspiration from the original novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, the stage play version by Jeffrey Hatcher (which is AMAZING, and I got to play Dr. Jekyll and my husband @zaebeecee played the BEST of the 4 Mr. Hydes in it <3), aaaand the delightfully campy musical Jekyll & Hyde (which my husband also got to perform in! As Poole!) we're kinda huge nerds for this story

‼️‼️For people who want to go in totally blind to the story, feel free to skip this post. But if you're concerned about things like character death in Hungry Games, read on‼️‼️

As clarification for you, and everybody else who might be concerned, there IS violence, and danger, but this little fic/project is just for fun. It is not going to contain any permanent character death, and any 'deaths' that occur will only appear real within the story.

That said, it is for adults, just like the source material, so there are still going to be heavier tones and subjects handled more bluntly. There will be content warnings for anything outside of the norm for the series. Use your own discretion when it comes down to that.
