Talk to us about Ringo. She still running around? I heard she was sick or something, is that true?

“Unfortunately, she had contracted an unknown illness…and sadly she didn’t survive. Bossman was devastated to hear about this, as of now it’s been a year or so since her death. However, what still gnawing at the back of my mind is the autopsy report…death by asphyxiation. She was deathly ill that is for sure, but her medical records show that she was recovering somehow and then had a sudden drop. What really haunts me is that Raiga was always by her side. Raiga at the time Lady Ringo’s underling and whatever loose ends she needed to be dealt with, it was him who did her bidding. He was just as devastated if not more when she passed….but….I’m not sure why, but their relationship seemed…a little strange. Sure shinobi with the same chakra natures can go along nicely…but he always mentioned how he felt honored to know he was going to be trusted with the Kiba. It’s Swordsmen tradition to take up an underling or apprentice to be next in line to inherit their swords. However, bossman told me Raiga wasn’t that well trusted. Lady Ringo one time said that he was too loyal…which is actually a bad sign. Loyalty in a sense is either blind trust or a developed relationship between master and underling…Raiga’s loyalty felt….artificial….”

“As of a few weeks ago, I’m reopening Ameyuri Ringo’s case…for someone with the symptoms of a pneumonia, she didn’t seem that congested to simply die of asphyxiation.”

What is marriage and weddings like?

*shutters at the thought of commitment*

“Well, most of them don’t have a formula if that’s what you’re assuming. Only if you could afford to have a “proper” one…usually the rich fucks here have “weddings”. We have traditional weddings but they’re more for political reasons. Hell I was betrothed at one point…until the bride saw my face and decided she didn’t want to marry a..quote unquote, “What an eel with a broken mouth would be as a human.” Honestly I thought it was fair and the marriage was called off…however her and her whole clan died off in the genocide so, HA who’s laughing now?”

*then remembers a colleague’s wedding*

“Well, I can’t really give you an AVERAGE Kiri wedding, but I was invited to another member of the anbu’s wedding. Apparently he decided to wait to take his mask off as some sort male version of that silly vile woman think is going to help…apparently the stupid gesture worked. Word on the street is that he and his wife are still married with 3 kids.”

Whatever happened to the Yuki clan?

“According to the historical archives, the Yuki clan originated from the Snow Village and were an aristocratic clan of shinobi. It would actually be incredibly rare to see them serving as shinobi despite their Ice Chakra Nature. They migrated here to Kirigakure during the warring period and settled in the central inland of Kirigakure where it snows more often…however the records show that during the genocide era….they were scheduled to be wiped out. I’ve recently been going over the reasons for their extermination but all records just show a list of practically 90% of the clans with kekkigenkai. The other 10% seems to have paid indulgence as an act of self preservation. The Yuki clan however was one of the few last clans to be exterminated and what is unsettling is that although some were able to escape…the clan that was ordered to fight them was the Hoshigaki and Kaguya clans….they out numbered them and weeks later both clans were exterminated…this is what I could find…but the fact that some were able to escape the carnage and prosper does give me hope I. Their revival….if the civilians don’t get to them first.”

...you don’t even have a ninja registration system, do you? Why are y’all such a mess in Kiri?

“No one is really sure how it happened or why we don’t have no regeneration system…specifically residency and immigration. Mostly because maybe people are either too poor to afford to leave Kirigakure or because of the fluctuating death tolls. Theoretically speaking, our death tolls depending on graduations, ecological or political situations can spike or fall. However we have basic records for everything but in terms of citizenship and shinobi regeneration it seems to be open season…the anyone can get in but prepare to have a nasty surprise. Bossman says Kirigakure is the only village with the highest spy grab count. We’ve found more spies attempting to escape via all sorts of ways and we’ve had any leaks up until recently…certain military strategies and important medical specialists had gone missing over the past month.”

So, there’s that Will of Fire that Leaf-nin never shut up about, and as I hear Iwa has a Will of Stone. Is there a Will of Water?

“Actually we call it “The Mild Contempt Of Partially Wet Acceptance” mostly because it’s a weird mix between complete acceptance of any possible situation and mildly ready to kick anyone in the mouth. As for the Will of Stone, it’s most likely about tossing a boulder at people like mountain dwelling cavemen they are. Seriously, why would you live in a cave if an earthquake happens you’re trapped there forever on your own hubris.”

Is everybody reassured by the idea that Raiga just left a fill-in-the-blanks adoption form for any hapless relative in his extended family? If it means nobody actually had sex with that guy?

“Well unfortunately we have no idea. Although Raiga from face value is a rather good looking guy, he literally is the least likely to find a woman and or man to like due to his bizarre nature. If it wasn’t for an embarrassing incident in the hot springs a few years ago I probably would have doubted his penis size being bigger then a dog’s….unfortunately and sadly I was wrong…fucking prick.”

*blanks out for a little remembering that traumatic day*

“Oh! Where was I? Oh yes, “fill-in-the blank adoption forums”…due to daily behavioral report records we have here in Kirigakure, we can keep tabs on those unfit to adopt small children. The reason being is that we’ve had…unsavory incidents where it would seem orphaned children would have been used for slave trades and black market dealings. After several investigations we’ve made some strict policies at least about civilian orphans, if theoretically Raiga would have wanted to adopt he would have to go through mental ordeals. ANYONE can pass a mental test but mental ordeal is we’re we put adopters through challenges based on what they’re going to expect to deal with. Raiga probably would haven’t pass it…we put everyone through ALL SORTS OF SHIT. As for orphaned shinobi, they’re immediately put into the academy for early training along with enrolled students.”
