Yeah, unfortunately I've kinda moved on from writing fanfiction. Now I focus on my artwork full-time! >:3c

I do still draw lots of HitsuKarin shinanigans, but I mostly only share that stuff on Patreon ^^ I even have a 140+ panel comic WIP that I'm hoping to finish EvEnTuAlLy (I work three jobs + patreon/kofi + zinework so it's hard eeeeeeeey)

There’s a knock on her door.

Michelle wipes her tears away with the back of her hand and gets off the couch. She stands behind her front door and takes a breath. From the corner of her eye, she can see her reflection in her mirror and she ignores her bloodshot eyes and her tear stained cheeks. She unlocks the door, and low and behold, there stands Peter Parker himself.

She takes a step back. He’s fiddling with the sleeves of his sweater nervously and then, he looks up at her. They stare at each other for what feels like forever, until Michelle breaks the eye contact. She looks down at her shoes that are neatly placed by the door. She doesn’t see Peter’s face drop when he sees the dried up tears on her cheek.

Peter motions inside her apartment awkwardly, “Can I…come in?”

Hesitantly, she steps aside and he makes his way into her apartment. They both make an effort not to look at each other. Michelle takes her time with locking the door behind her.

After what feels like hours of awkward silence and pent up tension, but really only is 2 minutes, Michelle runs a hand through her hair and sighs, “What do you want, Peter?”

Peter’s mouth opens and closes, and he stays like that for a while. Finally, he settles on, “I wanted to, uh, talk to you.”

Michelle wraps her arms around her petite torso and stares at him, “Shouldn’t you be with Gwen?”

Peter gulps. He gains the courage to look at her, instead of the carpet he got her. “I should,” he says, and he sees her bottom lip wobble. She bites on it, and purses her lips together. “But, she’s not you.”

Michelle snaps her head up to look at him.

When she doesn’t speak, he continues, “I uh, broke up with Gwen. It wasn’t fair of me to lead her on, when I had very, very strong feelings for someone else.”

Her mouth hangs open slightly, but Peter doesn’t stop, “And really, it wasn’t fair of me to start dating her in the first place, but I’m stupid. I’m a stupid dweeb and I was ridiculously oblivious of my steadily growing feelings for that person. But most of all, I’m stupid for hurting you.”

Somehow, Peter’s hands find hers and he laces their fingers together. To his relief, she doesn’t pull away. He closes his other hand on top of hers and holds her hand tight.

“I’ve always loved you, and I’m sorry that I was stupid to notice and acknowledge it. I’ve loved you ever since you gave me your notes to borrow, that day after I got my ass beat by Doc Oc because you knew I was Spider-Man. I’ve loved you ever since you yelled at me through Ned’s headset to stop being so stupid on that one mission and we got into a huge fight just because I was reckless. I’ve loved you ever since we graduated high school, and I loved you even when we went carpet shopping for our apartments. I love you.”

Michelle punches him in the shoulder lightly, “You don’t have to be so overdramatic, you ass. This isn’t a rom-com.”

Peter chuckles along nervously, still anticipating her answer.

Her lips curl into a small smile, and she chuckles. Her eyes are slightly watery, but then, a loose strand of her hair disrupts her line of vision. Peter tucks it behind her ear and she doesn’t point out that his hand is shaking.

Her eyes follow his hand, and she holds her breath. After a beat, she says, “Well, you already know that I love you. I’ve been in love with you since sophomore year of high school, but if you wanna give me that whole ass speech, then sure.”

Peter grins.

She rolls her eyes, wiping at her eyes with her sleeve, “Don’t smile at me like that, loser.”

And he stops smiling.

But then, oh god, he’s leaning in. Both his hands are on either side of her cheek and he presses his lips against hers. They kiss until they have to come up for air.

When they pull away, he rests his forehead against hers, “So, we’re dating right?”

“We better be. Or else, I’m kicking you out of my apartment.”

He pulls away and stares at her like she’s the most amazing, most beautiful and the best damn thing in the whole world. “I love you,” he says slowly, as if he can’t believe that she’s here.

“I know,” she says. And then, “Han Solo.”

“I would marry you right now if I could, but I think that’s a little too fast.”

She shrugs jokingly, as if she’s really considering it and Peter grins.

He gets the ring three months into their relationship.

Imagine MJ seeing Peter lift a car or something. Would she be shook?

it happens under life or death circumstances

the school is on fire and basically everyone has evacuated the school

but there was a ruckus outside because

some guy called dr octopus

peter laughed at that name

decided to pick a fight with spider-man

at 1:30

on a school day

sigh

so peter being the hero he is,

has succesfully gotten everyone outside but then

oh no

where is ned

and he rushes to mj

but she hasn’t seen ned either

and peter is panicking now

mj is 100% sure that ned is outside

so they look for him

and then they hear his tiny voice

and he’s on the ground

but his leg is caught under an overturned car

and mj is freaking out now

“oh god, oh my god, ned, you’re-you’re going to be fine. alright, i’ll um,”

she’s looking at the car like she thinks she can actually lift this thing

and peter wants to laugh

so he tries to distract her

“mj! go get help!”

and she’s nodding very quickly

and as she runs away,

she becomes v worried bc she has a heart too ok

she looks back and

what the actual fuck

peter parker is lifting the car with one hand

and his face is in complete relaxation

he doesn’t look like he’s straining

at all.

and for the first time in her life, she has no idea what to do

so she just stands there

and watches him lift the car

and then he’s hugging ned

and it’s kind of cute actually what

and then they’re doing their handshake

then she realises

wAIT WHAT THE FUCK

PETER PARKER JUST LIFTED A CAR WITH ONE HAND

and she marches up to peter

ready to yell at him

actually, she’s already yelling at him as she’s walking to him

it’s all very amusing actually

then, she trips on a tyre or something

and he catches her

it’s all very rom-com, meet cute esque

and michelle really wants to hate it

but he’s looking at her

and it makes her all soft and warm inside

then, she’s like

“i’m fine, thanks.”

and as they’re walking back to the front of the school,

she starts to yell at him

“also, i saW YOU LIFT-”

but then she slides on some grease from god knows where and she’s about to fall down but

peter wraps his arm around her waist

call her crazy, but she actually likes it when he wraps his arm around her waist-

and carries her

bridal-style

aw hell yeah

“someone needs to keep you from falling.”

and she hears ned not so discreetly mumble

“for peter”

and she glares at him

“watch it, leeds.”

then she’s like

“wait, peter. how the fuCK ARE YOU CARRYING ME-!”

she looks very shocked it’s adorable

but then mr harrington rushes to them

and she’s so angry

and she slams her head against his collarbone dramatically

“when will i actually get to speak”

and peter laughs

and she can feel his heartbeat

the low hum of his chuckle

it’s all so warm

and she starts blushing

GODAMNIT MICHELLE, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER

and then flash yells at them from across the compound

“GET A ROOM, PARKER”

then he sets her down gently

and she’s about to yell

because she’s so confused at this point

but he’s looking at her with those warm brown eyes

and that adorable lopsided grin

so she just mumbles a ‘thank you’

and because she’s michelle,

she taps his bicep,

looks at it pointedly,

and says a very sincere ‘thank you’

and its the cutest thing

1. what is your wip?

i have a bunch of unwritten spideychelle fanfic aus that i’ve thought about at the most random places, but i don’t think i’ll ever post them.

26. what’s the most research you’ve ever put into a book?

well, i’d like to think that i research as much as possible when i write. especially when i write about topics/experiences that i, personally, have never encountered before in real life. but i don’t think i’ll be able to name a book, or a piece of work specifically because i put in a lot of research for every little detail in every thing i’ve ever written.

31. top five favourite books in your genre?

all i ever write is fanfiction, and that is under ya fiction/romance novels, i guess? well, my top three would have to be:

eleanor and park by rainbow rowell

tape by steve camden

am i normal yet? by holly bourne

i don’t read much under that genre, so that’s it.
