Would you make something up about veneer dating a fem fashion designer reader who makes outfits for him and velvet ? ( like for there concerts and stuff like that )🙏🏾

First and foremost, thank you for the request, I appreciate every single one I get from you guys! 🙏 I tried getting some idea online about what fashion designers have to do exactly, and so, here is what I got…

Veneer x Fem! Fashion Designer! Reader ✰

Headcannons:

At first, you had been a designer for a few actors and singers before you were approached by Velvet and Veneer. You weren’t all well known, but you had some great works be worn by rising stars.

Their manager, Crimp, was the one you communicated with the most, understanding that the singers needed to do their work and they always told Crimp what they wanted the outfits to be done for them.

To say you were excited to make their future outfits was an understatement. You admired their work for a while now, so to know that they asked for you specifically to make their outfits felt like bliss.

For their latest tour, they wanted to really wear something similar to fashion trends from old Hollywood, at least that’s how Crimp explained it to you last time y’all talked.

When you first met them for preparation…

You were picked up from a personal driver of theirs to head over to their place. They told you that you can meet them at their place instead of them heading out over there and risk being seen. You didn’t mind at all, just pleased to finally get started on this project.

When entering the property, they had a gate be opened and you saw their small mansion. It was more elegant than luxury, and the place was kept well, seeing their lawns and decor outside.

You headed inside with someone, a servant of theirs, leading the way ahead of you. You admired all their furniture, seeing a pattern they tend to go for.

Velvet was the one to greet you at the door, shaking hands and leading you inside the room. Veneer was up from his seat and shook your hand as well. They introduced themselves, as if you would ever not know them, and explained why they wanted you to be their designer for this tour: They fired their last personal designer and saw how great your personal design was.

Although it seemed like a one time thing, you appreciated their support and explained what exactly you needed from them in order to start on the outfits. You took out a tailor ruler from your bag and started on taking their measurements.

After doing so, you headed to the door, being led to the door by Veneer. He saw you out the door, but not before sharing a comment, “I can’t wait to see what you do for us, this means a lot to me and my sister. Again, thanks…”

You started gathering fabrics and making a design when arriving at the studio. There was a sudden need to make this an outfit that they’ll enjoy. The last thing that Veneer said to you at the door kept creeping back into your mind, his voice of sincerity and words of encouragement.

Dismissing the lingering thought, you kept working on the outfit in the studio while you searched online for ideas and inspiration. Overall, despite that you worked twice as hard for the duo, all the work was worth it when seeing their reactions. Velvet was head over heels for it, while Veneer had you in between his arms as to show his appreciation for it.

The next time you were requested again by them…

A few months later, you saw an email from Crimp, stating that Velvet and Veneer wanted to request you again! You quickly jumped with excitement and replied that you would delighted to work with them again.

However, when going over to retake measurements again, they made you a proposal to make things easier: they would like to personally hire you as a private designer for them from now on.

Hearing this, you were ecstatic on the insure, but remained neutral when responding and accepting their offer. You now worked for them, signed all the paperwork with Crimp, and your career was better than ever!

A certain connection with a particular singer…

As you worked with Velvet and Veneer, you couldn’t help but feel compelled to be around Veneer. You would find yourself thinking of him at times and…ugh, it would be harder to focus at times when he was all you could think about.

Of course, you never showed your emotions for him. Well, tried to, at least. He would make funny remarks at times and you both would catch the other staring before looking the other way. He had a sense of humour, had sass that would make you jokingly roll your eyes at him, and you couldn’t get his smile out of your mind.

A time that you cherished was when you had to measure his head for one of the outfits and you kept trying to not notice his eyes on yours. You took a second to look back at his eyes and…oh. You couldn’t describe it, but he looked at you in a certain way that almost made you think it was how you felt about him…but that would be silly…right?

Some time after that, you were working on sketching a design when Veneer walked into your private room. He made his way next to you and tried to peek on your drawing. You felt like being playful, so you placed it against your chest so that he couldn’t see it.

He was taken back by you hiding it in the first place, but returned the smile and asked to see it, “Please y/n, I wanna see what you have. Pretty please?”

You couldn’t help but slightly show him before hiding it again. “Sorry Veneer, you’re just going to have to wait till I’m done sketching it to see.” He audibly gasped and held a dramatic posed, as if hurt by your actions. “I can’t believe this, I don’t know this side of you, y/n.”

He then stopped posing and suddenly got close to your face and had that one look on his face again. “Can I please see them, y/n?” You didn’t know how to react, stupidly not saying and not moving an inch. Seconds later, he kissed your cheek and headed out the room. “Goodnight y/n, better let me see them next time.”

You slowly raised your hand and touched where he kissed you, a smile appearing on your face. ‘God, did that really happen?!’

The most unexpected day occured…

It was the last day of the tour they’ve been on for the last few months, and it has been a huge success! Not only for the siblings, but your hard work wasn’t for nothing. Many others have offered to get some outfits from you, so Velvet thought that it would be good for you to spread out and open a few boutiques for your designs.

It has been a tough few months, but the help of Velvet and Veneer has made it all worthwhile. Speaking of the singers, they had a show to perform in a bit.

You went looking for Velvet first and found her room where she’s getting ready. When walking in, she has her makeup done and only needs to get into her outfit. “Y/n, get Veneer and make sure he’s all ready cause when I get out of this room, we’re going straight to the stage.” You hurried out the door and went to Veneer’s room next. You knocked before entering, trying to listen to be let inside. You didn’t hear anything for a bit, so you open his room and…didn’t see him there.

You walked in and suddenly heard the closet open, and there was Veneer with your latest design on him. You stood there, dumbfounded by his appearance. He saw you stand there and walked up to you with a smile and pep to his step. “You really outdid yourself y/n, loving the look. Is Velvet ready to go soon?”

You nodded and kept staring at him. He looked from your eyes to your lips and got closer than ever before. He grabbed your hands and held them close to his chest.

“Y/n, I’ve been meaning to say this for a while, but thank you for everything. You helped my sister and I out with your work. Helping you back with the boutiques was the bare minimum that we could’ve helped out with. I would give you so much more, y/n! I just wanted to say…that…I love you.”

He leaned in and shared a kiss with you. You were wonderstruck, realising the moment you were now is. You slowly kissed him back and placed your hands on his chest while he held your face in place.

You both stopped it all when there was sudden heavy knocking on the door. Velvet quickly opened the door and faced her brother, dismissing you in the room. “HELLO?! We gotta get on stage soon, let’s go!”

Velvet headed out, and now you were alone with Veneer again. “I gotta go, but we aren’t done here. See you in a bit…” He kissed you goodbye and headed out. ‘Oh my god, this really happened…’

I am still writing it! I’ve not written for a month or so because I’ve not been in that state mentally and I kept getting distracted by life. But it’s still very much on my mind and I will get back to it soon!

My plan was to finish it completely before I uploaded it, because there’s a few things I want to do but I can already see the plot holes forming haha. I want it to be right before I post it 🫣

I also will be formatting a version of it separately from ao3 so that it reads nicely on an ebook/kindle etc. cause I know some people like to download a fic and read on an external device. 😅 idk if people will even care about it like that but it’s something I want to do just for myself. As a writer, reading back on past works can feel so cringe sometimes because reading a story is way, way different than writing it!

Velvet x Fem!Reader ❦

Headcannons:

❥ When it comes to Velvet and our reader, things definitely didn’t start out on the right track. At the start, Velvet didn’t want to fully admit that she didn’t actually like her and actually thought she was sweet and sympathetic.

❥ For the reader, she has always admired Velvet for her hard-work, dedication, and even her small moments with her brother, Veneer. They found themselves being attracted to one another, till they simply started dating!

❥ When it became official, they both didn’t want to share this out to the world yet. They only talked to close people about it and hoped for the best!

❥ Now, Velvet will want to help provide for her in only the most attention seeking way. Need a ride? Here’s the latest model. Shoes worn out? Already sent someone (crimp) to get better ones for her. Trust me, the reader can deny her items, but that would be dismissed by her quickly.

❥ However, this only happens if she hears her complain about something and/or if Velvet asks you personally how things are going. She likes checking up on her and knowing of her daily routines.

❥ The reader also has her own quirks with her. For example, she will definitely try, and succeed, in giving Velvet a spa day in which she takes care of her. No random worker at some place, just them at the comfort of their home.

❥ Along with that, she also sets out moments to hug, cuddle, or even share a small kiss throughout the day. Velvet was skeptical about this at first, but she warmed up to it when realising how good it felt.

❥ The couple have their moments like any other. However, if it gets too much, they follow the system they set down: Talk about it before the end of the day and find a solution just if there’s a next time.

❥ Overall, they love each other dearly, not wanting anything or anyone in the way of each other. Velvet is oh so grateful for the reader, and the reader doesn’t think there’s anyone better for her than Velvet.

I had so much fun writing this, I love Velvet a lot, her characterisation is amazing and I would love to learn more about her. Anyways, I hope you liked it, sorry it took a while, but here it is! Till next time <3

Veneer w hanahaki disease for reader?? i feel like it’s such a good idea but i have no idea how to write it.

reader loves him too but is so oblivious. and loves him in a way that a #1 fan idolizes a celebrity, not in the romantic, sweet way Veneer loves them.

one night, Veneer is on stage with his sister singing their top songs, when he starts to cough up flowers in front of the audience. everybody is obviously worried, but also curious about who it is that he loves.

after the show his sister takes him backstage and scolds him for loving somebody when he should be focusing on their music. i imagine reader meets veneer a few days after, worried sick, and that’s when they start loving him back. the flowers stop, but they’re both too scared to confess to each other.

Hello! I can’t believe I get to help you out again, love your series so far 🫶 So, I’m familiar with the hanahaki disease, so I’ll try to describe it to the best of my abilities. Now, some ideas…

Veneer x Reader ❀ Hanahaki Disease AU

Headcannons:

✧ Since the reader is a fan of the star duo, especially a specific male partner, they first probably didn’t interact much at the start. The only contact they have are at shows and meet and greets with them.

✧ Weeks pass by, and Veneer can’t seem to admire the reader every chance he sees them, knowing how hard of a fan they are and…wow, he never realized how hard they smile and…how they always wear cute outfits that matches their star personas…oh no.

✧ When Veneer gets with his sister and heads out of the stage, he stands by her side as she rambles on about how annoying a few fans are about how much they “love” her.

✧ For some reason, I feel like Velvet would be heavily against falling in love and that sort of stuff either because she has seen how much it messes people up and/or she cares too much of her brother to lose him to such a disease that could’ve been avoided.

✧ So when she hears people mention the word “love” in a romantic connotation, it really bugs her. She doesn’t mean to offend, but she thinks they should stop themselves from feeling that way, a bit clueless on how it doesn’t easily work like that.

✧ Veneer agrees with her, hiding his sudden…attraction to the fan he keeps trying to look in crowds and their face expression filled with adoration. He couldn’t possibly tell his sister, who knows how much the conversation would escalate from there…

✧ Time passes, but Veneer only acts by “instinct” as the reader and him spend more time out of the public view and talk about anything to one another. Veneer coughs a bit, but quickly dismisses it, unknown to the spot of blood that follows with a flower petal…

✧ He soon notices the symptoms when he is now seeing flower petals coming from the inside of him body, even a slight trail of them when he wakes up in the mornings. ‘Oh no, what am I going to do…?’ He cries to himself as a form of comfort, unknown to it all yet not being able to confine with the only person he trusts with his true self…

The day when Velvet found out was a day he will never forget..

✧ They were preparing for a performance they will make unforgettable for their fans. Velvet all with high hopes and making sure everything is good to go, yet her brother hasn’t been the same for a while… ‘Just gotta make it till the end of the show…I have to do this for Vel…’

✧ Veneer had managed to hide his lovesick state from Velvet, but he could only do it for so long. Velvet reminds him of the show, and Veneer can only show his casual demeanor on the outside with heavy weight inside of himself.

✧ The day of the show started out as well as it could go. The sibling duo in their respective rooms getting ready, Veneer secretly texting the reader as to cool him down. Minutes later, it’s now time for them to perform, the stars not knowing what’ll hit them…

✧ Starting out strong, the fans raise their voices as they witness the entrance of Velvet, Veneer following in pursuit. It all comforts Veneer, thinking that there’s no way his sister will find out, especially not the fans, about his unreciprocated love for a member in the crowd.

✧ Unfortunately, as the reader and Veneer’s eyes meet, his heart fills with love for them while the reader stands and admires him with support as a fan. A sudden cough can be felt inside him, and he doesn’t try to cover it when he opens his eyes to the sight in front of him.

✧ Flowers with blood over his outfit, yelling from the crowd joined by flashing lights. It all goes away when he realizes that his sister is pulling on his arm, leading them both away from the stage and backstage.

✧ Velvet forcibly let go of Veneer, him gaining his strength to stand up straight, and was met with the back of his sister as she locked the door. She slowly looks back at him, and he couldn’t be more terrified to know what’ll she say now.

✧ Velvet was quick to go off at him, yelling at him about ‘how dare he fall in love when their career is getting better’ and ‘he shouldn’t have fallen into a trap of whoever he had fallen for’.

✧ Veneer could only let his coughing continue to clear out his insides and mute his sister from his ears. He’s hurt physically, but his sister is now tearing him apart emotionally.

The duo were taking a musical break, when someone unexpected came over…

✧ The reader hasn’t heard from Veneer since their last known show, were even the media took it upon themselves to figure out his “secret lover”

✧ It’s been nearly 4 months, and he doesn’t seem to answer his phone or answer their calls. The reader doesn’t know what’s going on, but they’re tired of waiting and instead head out to get answers themselves.

✧ It wasn’t hard to know where he could possibly be, having his location in case of emergencies like they spoke one time. When they arrived, they knew they needed to sneak in and try not to get caught just to talk with Veneer.

✧ They don’t know what happened, but they felt themselves get a sudden burst of strength when imagining what Veneer would do or say when he would see them after so long. They hoped that he was happy, smiling his unfazed smile when they were alone, giving them a hug that seems like they would both rather not let the moment go and instead wished it would last.

✧ Finally making it to his room, they saw him and Veneer also saw them just as quickly. Time seemed to go by slowly as they wrapped their arms around each other and just as quickly, Veneer led them to a room where they won’t get caught together.

✧ Veneer is firstly happily confused as to why the reader even came over in the first place. They explain that they haven’t been at ease since he’s been ghosting them, wanting an explanation to everything that happened that night.

✧ Veneer couldn’t possibly express his feelings for them yet, so he only stated the obvious: he fell for someone that didn’t express the same feelings.

✧ The reader could only stop and listen as he breaks down when explaining his feelings for them. A slight hurt feeling can be felt in the reader, but wants to know why it hurt badly.

✧ When the moment went silent, they stared at each other that made them be the only ones alive to one another. ‘Oh…do I love Veneer?’ The reader is somewhat confused, but the two only smiled and confided in each other for support…

You don’t have to use all this (obviously)! I may have gotten carried away and shared my ideas with the request in mind. It really is such a good idea, and I’m glad to have provided any help for your story! I can’t wait to see what you come up with <3

Headcannons:

❥ To say being a singer is tiring is an understatement. Velvet and Veneer know how hard it is to keep up with everything in the music industry, so tired of listening to crimp on what they should do to stay relevant in Mount Ragious.

❥ As Velvet’s girlfriend, you were always concerned with them duo taking breaks and making sure to spend time together. After their latest show, you were with Velvet in her bed as you both had a spa night with her brother. You told her about how it would be a good idea to take a break since they finished a long tour.

❥ Veneer looked up at you and waited to see his sister’s reaction. She stopped doing what she was doing and looked up at you with a questionable expression. The siblings weren’t sure on how to plan a break, all they’ve known to do was work to keep up. “Maybe a small break wouldn’t hurt, sis…” Veneer mumbled.

❥ Velvet still needed a bit of convincing, so you told her to at least think about it. “I just don’t want you guys to overwork yourselves. Besides, we could really have some time together with no worries. Wouldn’t you like that, babe?” Velvet only saw your face and looked away with a visible blush in her face. “Ok, I’ll think about it, but you’re definitely coming with us! I’ll still spoil you, no matter the place”

❥ Before you knew it, you were packing up to go to an island that the siblings saw and planned a private jet to take them in a few days. Of course, there was more shoppings sprees and one last night with Velvet in her room before you left. You slept comfortable, arms wrapped around one another while, unknowingly, Velvet was staring at you sleep the night away with her. Her lips softly fell upon your lips and joined you soon after.

When arriving at the location…

❥ It took you a second to take in the hotel in which Velvet had planned for you all three to stay in. You thought Crimp was also coming along, but Veneer had told you in the flight that they needed her to stay and to take care of things while they’re gone.

❥ Velvet had a room with two beds for all the three of you to stay in. Velvet and you would share one while Veneer was left with the other one. A look at the room, closet, and restroom size can easily tell you that this is the best room in the whole building. “Nothing less for my brother and I, and especially not you sweetie”

❥ The room included a balcony, and the view was breathtaking. The sea was all you could see, not telling where it ends when it eventually meets the sky. Other buildings, restaurants, and tourist sites being filled and others walking alongside them. You were mesmerized by the view, taking a deep breath before heading back inside.

Memories of spending time together…

❥ The first day there, you all planned the days ahead. A list of all the sites to see, a full beach day with a restaurant afterwards, and many other activities while staying there. You were excited, and the siblings didn’t have any work related activities in mind, just taking in the moment.

❥ It was the day in which you all three would go sightseeing around for photos and/or just to get fresh air. The first sight to see was the hill up that supposedly felt like you were one massive person while everyone else could barely be seen. Velvet was definitely over climbing it halfway, yet Veneer and you made it to the top. You both captured photos and showed them to Velvet when y’all came down and went to another sight.

❥ It was around 8 when you woke up one morning, the sun shining and waking everyone up. It was a stay-in day and you felt Velvet try to cuddle up more beside you. Although there wasn’t any plans that day, you still got up and got ready for the day ahead. You ordered room service for you and the duo to eat some breakfast while cleaning up little by little. The food eventually got there and the siblings started waking up due to the noise. Velvet only laid in bed while looking at you as Veneer got up and took in the sight of breakfast. From there, you three didn’t do anything but stay indoors.

❥ It was the final day of the vacations, and to say that you were going to miss being there was an understatement. In such short time, you’ve managed to spend the greatest amount of time with your girlfriend and future family friend. Velvet felt the shift in your energy when heading to the flight. “Hey, don’t worry about us not spending time together. We’ll always try to have vacations from now on, silly! Right, Veneer?” He quickly agreed and started planning for the next one. Velvet held your hand and shared a small kiss to your lips. “Just so you know, I love you…”

what do you think about Veneer x Hip-Hop artist reader??(male or female i don’t really care) i always see it with a pop star or a fan, or somebody who doesn’t know who vnv are.

i imagine they meet at a record shop that one of Veneer’s friends took him to. why else would a pop star like him be there? anyways they eventually become friends

they’re(as in the hip-hop one) like super laid back and chill, oblivious to any of Veneer’s attraction and just genuinely surprised when he confesses. like “shit, really? man i never knew…”

i might end up just writing my own fic about it, maybe use your hcs as inspo? if you’re ok with that. i’ll credit u if i do.

Veneer x Hip-Hop Artist! Reader ✰

Headcanons:

✧ I imagine it all starting with our dear reader hanging out by the record shop that they always went to often throughout their life. It’s an important place to them and seeing their record being sold there is a dream come true for them

✧ However, in this one particular day, they go there to find some new music when another pair enter the store.

✧ Unknowingly to them, it’s Veneer with a somewhat disguised appearance of a dark hood on and a girl friend of his that practically dragged him to a small record store. Veneer didn’t want to risk of anyone recognising him, so to see little amount of people here had made him put down the hood and reveal himself.

✧ The girl that he’s with, let’s call her Eve for now, is a fan of our reader’s music and is in search of their latest record. With Veneer with her, they both look for the album while the reader is in a completely other section.

✧ They are successful in their findings and buy the record. When they both exit, the store owner who works in the register tells the reader that the “couple” bought their album.

✧ This made the reader very pleased, being humble of such great news. But, the next time Veneer goes to that store, they do interact!

✧ This time, it was Eve’s birthday soon so Veneer thought of getting her a signed record of her favourite artist this time. He went in and tried looking for one, only to come out with nothing.

✧ The reader was in and was with the owner behind the counter when Veneer came up to ask the owner if they had any signed records of them.

✧ Hearing this, the reader said that they’ll sign any record he wants signed by them. Veneer is…confused. This is the artist? They’re here and willing to sign them?

✧ He’s at awe at the sudden news, and glad! He thanks them and gathers all the records he wants signed. As the reader signs them all, Veneer is taking in their looks.

✧ The record Eve got last time was replayed many times back at her place, and Veneer genuinely loved it. The sounds were upbeat and with their energetic voice with lyrics of their own? He’s amazed at your work.

✧ With the records now signed, he thanks them again and heads out with them. Maybe he’ll visit around this place soon…

Maybe this is too much??? I definitely have more ideas for how this could play out, but this is what I came up with on the spot. I hope you enjoy this though! Again, use this to your advantage to get inspired and write out your own story.
