Are these things, mentioned at the final part of your posts, the tasks you're going to do in that day? I'm also wondering how you plan for a week, a month, or a year.
Hello, I am putting the list "things on my mind" down to empty my head in the morning. On there goes everything nice-to-have-done. These tasks are disorganised and not a set to-do list. I work with a daily growing to-do list on notion, meaning I write down only the need-to-be-done-today tasks at the beginning of each day, keeping the number as low as possible, and add whatever else I have actually done throughout the day.
For weekly, monthly and yearly planning I use an online calendar + notion. I try to keep my planning to a minimum to be flexible enough to take up any exciting opportunities, be they related to travelling, projects or academia. All I really plan in advance are the courses I need to take during the semesters, and when I'll need help with taking care of the dog if I am going away. Usually, I greatly value the freedom to be spontaneous.
Hope this helped!
