Okay, I got two questions !! Srry if this is obnoxious ;-;

1. How did you come up with your redesigns of the TADC characters for your AU? They're all beautiful and I'm trying to make an AU right now, so if you had a certain thought process when redesigning them, could you share?

How did you come up with the idea for the Rebirth AU? I'm just curious about how you made it and the lore, as I think it's quite interesting!

HIIII no need to apologize, I'm happy I actually HAVE an ask!

1. I mostly made them up on the way! I just mixed my favorite parts of character designs I've seen in the past! For example: Gangle and Pomni have Ruff's since I love how they look, EVERYONE is fluffy in some way since it adds to silhouette and I just like drawing swoopy lines!

But for advice I'd say do just that, change them in the most self indulgent way as possible, and don't try to stick to one design, if you don't like how a character looks first pass just keep redesigning and editing them, no one is stopping you! For example, I've really changed Ragatha from her original design meanwhile Pomni barely changed!

2. I liked the idea of a paradise AU, and for a while it was going to stay that! Well, the ORIGINAL original Idea was "The amazing digital circus: An actual circus" where everyone had a role in an actual circus, but I realized that was kinda lame and people would probably already take that, so I thought of something like the paradise AU.

I was going to keep it full relaxation and no problems, but realizing that I wanted to make this a comic I added a conflict, which is where Abel came in:

He would be the main villain and he would fuck up everyone's peace, and everyone would have to stop him. He messes with memories so characters can't exactly fully forget something as long as he's around. That includes trauma.

Also, he's the only AI, this helped with my story since it makes them more empathetic, and also them not being brain scans but their actual soul being transferred into the computer (Aka their bodies are rotting) makes it more reasonable to me on why they can't leave, since they'll basically die if they try.

Also, everyone wants to be there, they chose to be there, they signed up for it, so they are there, and Abel isn't happy about that since he was having fun with his... Hibernation basically.

do you have any personal height headcanons for the mortal kombat characters? i've always personally imagined liu kang to be a little short! no taller than 175 cm, which is still tall, but noticeably shorter than johnny cage that i've always thought of as being 180 cm+. i know that the in character models also have every man generally being the same height, but i also think that a barely noticeable height difference between bi-han and kuai liang would be pretty funny. maybe a difference of 3 centimeters at most, and they don't care, but someone like johnny points it out and suddenly they're both scrutinising each other. or mileena and kitana being the exact same height, but people perceive them as having different heights due to the difference in their presences (and also the shoes that they wear). though they typically have the women as noticeably shorter than the men, i also like to imagine that edenian women are either truly taller on a general scale or seem/present taller because of their aura. -🎐

I just got referred for testing for Autism/intellectual disabilities/learning disabilities and I'm scared.

What exactly are you scared of? The results? The actual testing itself?

Either way, you're gonna be fine.

I may not actually remember the testing, since I was only three when I was diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure all they do is ask you questions and have you perform simple tasks, and they take notes on how you respond. Then they compare those notes to the current DSM (it's like a big dictionary of mental illnesses, disorders, and disabilities) and see if anything matches. If you want the most accurate result, just be yourself, not what you think they wanna see.

And no matter the result, just remember: you're still you. However you are, you've always been like this. No need to be worried or ashamed of who you are. Continue life as normal. You can tell your friends of your diagnosis or keep it a secret. It's up to you.

And if you are disabled, that means that you now have access to help if you ever need it. It doesn't necessarily mean taking special education classes, but you can apply for disability services in college (Extended deadlines and such. Tryna get mine RN. I think it's called a 504 plan.) and join programs to help you with job skills.
