last november twitter suspended my account, at first they said it was because I stole someone's identity (???) and then they changed the reason to me having followed too many people in a short time. after a few requests they told me my account was restored but it never worked ... T-T i really hope you have more luck :') twitter is just getting worse >-<
Thank you for the kind words anon, and I’m really sorry that happened to you :(((
I have had my private account suspended twice before, once because of twitter’s irrational fear of the word cishet (lol) and another because I liked too many posts around the time when the view-only-50-posts-per-day limit was implemented (and not extended to the browser version, which is what I mostly use). Both times twitter support took days to review my appeals and both times I managed to get my account back. What worries me this time is just how quick I got a response: there’s no way someone actually took their time to review it and I’m afraid that I have either been labeled as a bot with no chance of redemption by whatever parameters they’re using to suspend accounts or that my words didn’t pass the test of whatever ai they’re using to check the appeal requests. I’ll keep trying as soon as (and until) it lets me so for now let’s just hope for the best ^^
