I've got a quick FE question for you guys. Just out of curiosity, do you think that any of the DLC characters are good to use? Or are they simply not worth it?

The DLC characters who have their own chapters are generally not worth using (Gangrel, Walhart, etc.), but some of the SpotPass characters are. Ike, Ephraim, Marth… generally anyone with access to Rightful King or Aether.

Hi! Thx for making this blog and always giving out advices ^^. So here's my question concerning FE, what do you think of a Kellam x Miriel pairing?

It’s not bad, but it’s not great. It doesn’t play to either characters strengths (namely Miriel’s ludicrous MAG modifier and Kellam’s crazy DEF modifier), but they balance each other out quite well. The result would be an all-around decent MAG-user Laurent, with above-average DEF for a mage-type character and below average SPD. Kellam would provide some nice reclass variety, however, which is something to consider.

Honestly though, I think I would stick to pairing Miriel with a fellow MAG-based character, like Ricken or Libra. Laurent can easily be the most powerful MAG-user in the game, so why settle for anything less? ;)

I have a FE question. I want to pass down Galeforce to Morgan as I am a female my unit. However, when I initially married Chrom I was a grandmaster but right now I am a dark flyer and I have yet to recruit Morgan from Paralogue 12. Can he still have Galeforce!

Yes - a unit can inherit its parents’ skills at any time before you enter the corresponding recruitment chapter. So as long as you have the abilities you want passed down equipped in the last slot for each parent before you start the chapter, you will pass them down no problem!

I don't think your advice is that bad. You really helped me with my choice of Asset and Flaw when it came to Marrying my love, Walhart. Now I have a well-balanced Morgan that's a tank and a killer! Especially with Ignis. +20-30 extra damage? Hot damn!

Thanks for the vote of confidence toadette! It means a lot to know that Sarah and I did some good in our time running the FE experts blog. This single compliment easily outweighs the three pages of hate on serenesforest in our book :P

This is my final post on this for a while, and I'm hoping askafireemblemexpert or someone else skilled in pairing kids for stats will see this and possibly give me advice

This is for a SpotPass team, not an endgame team, so Galeforce isn't strictly necessary for everyone

organized by pairing and final class for the kid, assuming the best skills possible are passed down and acquired:

Chrom/Olivia -> Lucina (Great Lord), Inigo (Hero)

Cherche/Vaike -> Gerome (Berserker)

Maribelle/Gregor -> Brady (Sage) (this marriage choice is deliberately kind of bad so Brady can get 50 LUK and Armsthrift; Donnel is another choice, but I wanted to pair him with Nowi for Aptitude and the statups on Nah)

Lissa/+SPD-LUK MMU -> Owain (Swordmaster)

Sully/Kellam -> Kjelle (General)

Miriel/Henry -> Laurent (Sorceror)

Tharja/Ricken -> Noire (Sage)

Nowi/Donnel -> Nah (Manakete)

Cordelia/Lon'qu -> Severa (Hero)

Panne/Gaius -> Yarne (Assassin)

After posting this I noticed I didn't pair Sumia, oops. (maybe Sumia/Gaius, Panne/Lon'qu and Cordelia/Frederick?)
