“Aw, Anarchy misses her, too!” Karma pulled up their phone, sending quick messages before presenting the screen to Lilia. “HI! CHECK OUT THIS COOL FILTER! I MISS YOU GUYS!”“They had to go back to the States for the holidays,” Karma explained, “But our mom promised them that they’d be allowed to come back when they don’t have classes. I know they’re looking forward to it.”“TELL HANA I MISS HER! KARMA! KARMA TELL-”Karma turned the phone back towards themselves, covering the screen. “Anarchy misses Hana.”A muffled “THANK YOU” sounded from the speaker beneath their palm.

“Ah, yes, hello,” Karma responded, exhaustion evident in their voice. “The first couple of days weren’t bad at all, thank you for asking. The kids are wonderful and pay excellent attention for the most part, but…” As they talked, a child came from behind them and began frantically tugging at the sleeve of their shirt. “there’sanotherkidhere,sib?!”“Ah, sorry.” Karma pet the top of the small one’s hair. “This is-”“USEMYHERONAME!”Karma sighed.“This is…Awesome-o.”The child looked at them, dejected. “No, not that one!”“What?”After some quiet mumbling between the two, Karma groaned and began the introduction for the third time. “This is…” They looked to the smaller one who had taken a proud pose beside them. “Anarchy.”Anarchy nodded enthusiastically at their introduction, practically beaming at the five year old.
