Wren continues to stand in the shallow water, gobbling up her grilled pineapple slices Wren: It's been a hot second since I've been able to eat freshly grilled food on a hot summers day!! It hits different ya know! Especially when you get to gobble up hot stuff while standing in cool water!! Layton looks over from the grill with a furrowed brow Layton: I would advise against eatin' in the water tho. If you drop any crumbs it could attract sea life Wren: I happen to ENJOY the itty bitty fish nibbling on my crumbs in the waves THANK you very much! The flareon leaves the water momentarily to grab some more food, turning back towards Eris with a smile

Wren: I also gotta bunch of other food, I'm takin FULL advantage of the grilling lmao.... so much that I uh.. may have brought too much.. SO IM HAPPY TA'SHARE! If you or your friends want anythin' you can stop on by whenever!

( @askanoddpikachu ) Eris approached Gen, a smile on their face. “Hey, I remember you! We met at that sleepover! How have you been since then? Is there anything in particular you’re excited to see at this event?”

"H-hi!" Gen said, waving at Eris. "Um, n-nice to see you a-again."

"I've, um...b-been ok," Gen said, clutching onto his reunion cape. He hadn't been ok, not one bit, but Eris didn't need to know that. Nobody who didn't already know he was human needed to know.

"Uh, I'm e-excited about the f-food trucks!" he says, smiling. "Th-there's so many d-different recipes I could m-maybe learn!"

Devon blinked in surprise a few times and then crouched down, to be closer in level to Lux. They held out a hand to shake and smiled.

Adrienne pulled a face and signed, "Aw come on, Dev. You don't need to play the protective parent for me."
