So Devon, what was your reaction to hearing Adrienne had to have a leg amputated?

Devon looked over to where Addy was sitting happily with her boyfriend, "I just- when she left she said she was going to save her brother. The last call I expected was to hear she'd been hurt so drastically. I was devastated for her. Still am."

(asktheisle) Nat@Devon: Oh hey, your sibling is the one that had that cute little houndour hatch some time ago right? I didn't realize Addy was your pokemon either!

Devon continued, "And yeah, Addy's one of my Pokemon! Best damn electric type I've ever trained, the team really misses her. Shivers is a good substitute, but Addy's STAB moves are stronger 'cause she's a hybrid of two electric types."

After a moment they ducked to the side of the room and pulled out a small, red backpack. They gave a small grin and offered it to Adrienne.

"Speaking of Malachi, they got you this, Addy! It was supposed to be for Nico, but he's so damn picky and he didn't like it."

The Pikund held out her hands and carefully took the backpack, inspecting it thoroughly before sliding it onto her shoulders.

Devon looked incredibly pleased with themself, "I knew it would be good for you. I stocked it with rations, antidotes, and potions in case you need them while you take care of your brother."

"I was only ever taking time away from them to find my brother and take care of him. Once Finn is old enough to handle himself, I'll be back on Devon's team again."

(@askanoddpikachu) Lux@Devon: “so you’re the trainer that I’ve heard so much about! It’s nice to finally meet you.” Lux said, a smile on his face.

Devon blinked in surprise a few times and then crouched down, to be closer in level to Lux. They held out a hand to shake and smiled.

"Wow, it's nice to meet ya, lil guy. You better treat my Addy right, okay?"

Adrienne pulled a face and signed, "Aw come on, Dev. You don't need to play the protective parent for me."

The Pikund perked up instantly, seeming like a completely different Pokemon with her trainer in sight. She crouched on the table, wobbling slightly as she tried to balance right, before leaping at Devon. Her jump was ill-prepared and she nearly fell off, but the trainer carefully steadied her into their shoulder.

"Still getting used to things I see." Devon said with a sympathetic smile, "But I'm proud of you for doing so well on your own."
