Opinion question:
For those of you who are already vegan and have been, do you still expose yourself to the more graphic videos/literature/posts about veganism and animal rights?
If so, why or why not?

Hey Instagram! I was curious as to what was it that made you say no to any animal products? And how long have you been vegan/wfpb? With our family it was "What the Health?" on Netflix 😳 We literally called all our friends as the credits were rolling and told them to come clean us out of all animal products. We were done with it all and haven't looked back. That was 2 years 4 months and 22 days ago from today (I keep a countdown calendar on my phone, lol 😁). . So please, share with us your journey to a cruelty free lifestyle 😊. . . . . . #askavegan #veganftw #lovebeingvegan #veganfood #veganfoodshare #whatveganseat #veganshare #veganfamily #veganlifestyle #vegancommunity #noanimalsharmed #meatless #wfpb #plantbased #veganonthego #friendsnotfood #veganstyle #vegandad #veganeats #veganorlando #yesitsvegan #veganstreetwear #veganclothing #nomeatnoproblem #whatveganswear #veganisnow #veganism #Orlando #veganfam #veganetsy (at Orlando, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6D8CFep7lN/?igshid=1drtvae7dqxx5

Hey! I'm @83protonsofjoe and I'm starting this blog to answer questions for new vegans, aspiring vegans, and non-vegans in a friendly way. It's my personal belief that vegans (like scientists) need to work harder to come across as inviting instead of making fun of people who disagree/don't understand. My hope is to do exactly that with this blog, and I hope to find some other vegans who agree. I know a lot about the environmental/dietary/sustainability aspects of veganism so someone who focuses on ethics would be useful. Speaking of which, I really need someone to help me run this blog, and while I have some people in mind, if you want to help just send me a message! I'm restrained to using tumblr on mobile with a cracked screen (hence the header still being default and blog looking gross in general), so yeah! Any help would be appreciated.
Doctors
Doctors tend to not accept veganism as a healthy diet. They say you should be drinking a lot of milk for your bones, especially children. They say the human body needs animal products to grow and to absorb all the vitamins we need and become stronger.
In fact, doctors don’t even lie. A lot of doctors just don’t know better, because in their education they don’t get taught what they should be taught and instead continue on thinking an animal based diet is the way of eating and the most healthy one. To be fair, a lot of doctors also say being vegan is a good possibility for everyone (except pregnant women and ill people) and you just need to know where you get your vitamins and protein and stuff from. But is this really the case? Why should a pregnant woman avoid veganism, if her baby child is ok in being vegan? Why would a vegan need more vitamins, when eating fruits and veggies every day and avoiding the dangerous medicine in meat other animal products?
If you are not happy with the ethics of your doctor you can change to a “veggie-friendly” doctor who probably gives you more and better information about veganism, which you need. I am not saying everyone should change their doctors but a vegan doctor probably knows best about what your vegan body really needs than your former doctor who has no idea about Veganism. It is always important to see both sides of the story, so always ask different doctors or specialists first and get more opinions on this topic.
In this world it is hard to believe anyone who gets money for his or her job, which is why people should be talking and discussing important topics like this more in society.
Doctors are not all knowing.
