Did you ever talk to 1.0?
J: Evan spends a lot of time at the Murphy’s. He says he’ll hang with me when he comes back but sometimes he doesn’t come back so I go up and talk to 1.0 H-he can’t really talk back but its fun to pretend.

“You’re very lucky he didn’t hear you. I don’t want him getting upset over someone insulting something he’s so proud of.”
Why did Alana decide to create you?
“She let me choose my name and everything! Said I was for a science fair I think? Evan was made for Miss Heidi as her son I think. Miss Heidi could of had two Evan’s if the first one turned on.”
Hello! What do you consume for energy?
“Miss Alana plugs me in so I can charge to get my energy. It’s pretty nice.”
who is your android boyfriend?
“Hes called Evan 2.0 and hes a friend Alana made for me plus a son for Miss Heidi because she was lonely or something. I guess hes okay but hes 100x better and more upgraded than I am and I kinda hate it.“
Wait, first one?
“Not just a room, its Miss Alana’s work space. The boxes are full of parts and scrap she uses. She and Zoe built 1.0 together just like they build Evan, but he just wouldn’t turn on. They scanned for viruses and checked his coding and wiring. He could turn on perfectly fine, its like…he just refused to. They don’t know why.”
