why are your features negative?

On my planet, there are three main races. Sadly, being one or the other can lead to how you will be treated.

For example, being denied basic planetary rights and sanitation.

The groups are the Anguisti, the Vermingum, and the Aviste. 

I am an Anguisti. I have reptilian features. We are seen as the lowest of the low. Everyone assumes that we are thieves and the job market is not kind to us. In many sectors/lands, the Anguisti are taxed heavily. We are the scum to the higher ups.

The Vermingum is the Middle Class. There is a high population of them. They are all of those with mammal features. They survive well, face little to no bias, and live a prosperous life. Many of them look down upon us. 

The Aviste are the highest up. Not many of them are born. They are the best of the best–or at least they think so. Related to flighted animals, the Aviste have wings and because of this they believe that they are superior, especially to the Anguisti.

Because I am an Anguisti, I am seen as low. I am low like my father and mother and everyone else.

This problem and bias is what sparked the war.
