Never Meant to Be

The lord wasn't able to move after that moment, and he stared glassy eyed up at the ceiling as he pieced together what had happened. He felt strange. Not himself. He suddenly felt the floor shake under him and glanced forward, lifting his head slightly to see what he assumed was similar to what a lot of people saw before their not so painless deaths came.

The demonic creature shrouded in the lords own darkness moved a claw forward, intending to crunch the lords pathetic little soul. "THAT SOUL HAS NO PLACE WITH YOU NOW HAND IT OVER!" It growled in a voice that made him quiver. That was the true lord of darkness...

As the dark fire came closer the light that he was exuding because brighter fending it off malevolent flames.

"YOU AND I ARE MEANT TO BE THE SAME!" It screeched as the lord struggled to sit up, "You... will not have this..." He muttered weakly, as he gently clutched his chest. He felt tender and frail yet warm at the same time. A warmth he had barely known.

"FINE, IF YOU WILL NOT GIVE ME YOUR HEART THEN I WILL HAVE TO BREAK IT." It hissed sinisterly, an evil glint within the deep red eyes. LD suddenly felt a cold pain cut through the warmth. as a sickly grin appeared on the beasts face, "THAT PRETTY DAUGHTER OF YOURS HAS BEEN IN THE WAY FOR FAR TOO LONG." It hissed before suddenly taking off at an incredible speed after its quarry leaving the lord slightly stunned as he felt the tremor of the creature leaving his world and heading into the other.

{ † } -- The more wanderers approached him, the more it made Arceus worry for them to discover his identity. The hood wouldn't probably work for too long, but it still helps just a bit. What could he see? Five more strangers who seek guidance. The shade of the hood covered enough of his face only for the eyes and mouth to be seen. His white flocks were much more larger and seen on his shoulders.

"Hello there." He said with a gentle voice. A smile curled up on his lips. He didn't see much threat in them, or maybe he was wrong? Either way, nobody could defeat God.. yet.

He takes a step backward and retracts his claw to gently smack his own face, trying to straighten his composure as he mentally exhales in an attempt to quiet himself.
