BASICS:
name: Spencer preferred pronouns: He/him sexuality: Heterosexual zodiac sign: Pisces taken or single: Single three facts:
I live on a farm with 10 horses
I'm an Irish mutt. (Like 80% Irish, then the last 20% is a mixture of pretty much every single thing. African, German, Polish, etc... The list goes on. My ancestors were just a bunch of horny Irishmen and woman I'm guessing.)
I've backpacked mountains in California and mountains in New England. "From sea to shining sea."
ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE:
how long (months/years?): Probably about a 2 years. how’d you start: Started because a girl I liked forced me to read Homestuck, and well, I was head over heels what else and I going to do? Roleplayed smut with her pretty much 24/7 and eventually made a blog, never intending it to become a roleplay one. (Never ended up getting the girl by the way. It was a good thing she was a little crazy. I don't know why I tend to go for the crazy ones...) I had named the blog the name it has now though, and thus it attracted people who thought I may roleplay. People began to interact with me and I began to interact back. It was never a challenge or something different for me, as I wrote almost every minute of the day, whenever I had the time. It was an escape for me, to craft fantasy worlds and eccentric tales with just a pencil and paper, without having to stress over it like an artist would his painting. With the right details and some well placed words, you could bring a kingdom to life. It was certainly, my greatest escape. I shut myself away for weeks on end during the summer just to write a story. I don't do that any more though. BUT YES! Back to why. I just ended up appreciating the idea of roleplaying and slowly gained more followers, many claiming that they loved how I wrote smut (Lol what). Others just appreciated my plain writing, which I thank them dearly for. The blog took off and now I'm here today, barely active and wishing I had more motivation to breathe. platforms you’ve used: Kik, Text, Tumblr, Pesterchum. worst experience: Having to deal with some very unknowledgeable roleplayers who were to ignorant to learn, yet would not stop pestering me. Like I'm chill with inexperience, as long as you wish to gain experience and learn from it. best experience: Probably some of my first roleplays. The times with glubbingcalibrator and 8luespidergirl. And I definitely couldn't forget superstitibus (Previously Remnants-of-a-doomed-session). Those were some of my first encounters, (Can't forget Lili either! But I don't remember her URL :c ). A lot of those people impacted me, for the better. I love them all very much. Especially superstitibus! She's so perfect and I honestly look up to her a lot T v T
MUSE PREFERENCES:
female or male: I don't care much, though female is harder if it comes to smut since I am an innocent nerd who has only had sex like twice and they shouldn't even count. favorite face: I'm not one for faceclaims. least favorite face: ^^^ multi or single: Single, though I would love to entertain the idea of having a multimuse blog.
WRITING PREFERENCES:
fluff, angst or smut: I will write all of them, and it seems like I write smut the most, but to be honest I don't like smut that much. It's just easier to write because I have two brains giving me motivation with it. Other than that I'd like to do less of it in all honesty. plots or memes: I'm not sure, but I do love adventure plots? long or short replies: I love long replies a lot of the time! Though for casual roleplays a short reply can be great. It all depends on the scene and pace of the action. If the action is fast, write a long reply fitting in the excess of movements your character is making, if it is slow paced, then your character should need less actions thus a shorter reply. Never try to fit too many things into a reply, it just sounds weird. You should give the other person's character a chance to respond to any major action rather than writing past it. best time to write: As of late, it seems like never. I have lacked the motivation and brain capacity due to fatigue and what is probably some underlying depression as of late. I hope to get back into the game soon, but there are no promises. Scattered and shitty replies are my forecast from here on out. When I was more motivated though it was always night time when my mind wandered the furthest in search of the most outlandish and extraordinary stories. are you like your muse(s): Maybe? I feel that I took very little from Homestuck when it comes to playing Dave. I put excessive effort into studying his cannonical features and ideals but only adhered to them occasionally to keep him fresh. Other than that, the type and way he speaks can be seen in the way I type and speak and act today. I would say I have a close connection with Dave, and surely based him off of my personal qualities.
Tagging[Only if y'all want to]: superstitibus (tagging you for the what, third time in this post?), ask-lady-illusion, anddddd @crxsts!
