Reader: I notice that you talk a lot about food allergies, thyroid disease, and lyme. How do they relate? Does everyone who has food allergies have Lyme, and vice versa?
LiveLoveManja: This is a GREAT question, thank you so much for asking. We at LiveLoveManja imagine that many of our readers and people nationwide (with food allergies, with thyroid disease, with Lyme) may very well be wondering the same thing. While LiveLoveManja cannot make a claim that these 3 issues are all co-connected, meaning when you have one of the issues listed above that you will certainly have the two other issues present. Nor does having only one of the three listed issues mean that you do not have one (or two) of the three listed. Each individual is different, their DNA and prexisting issues unique to the individual. This makes it hard to say the three are all related. However, many medical studies show the synergy between the three listed. Ashley Nicolei, founder of LiveLoveManja has all three listed above (her Lyme is in remission as a few months ago) and she is still being treated for Hashimoto’s Thyroid as well as living a food allergy aware lifestyle. We post on all three because the common thread between the three, whether all three manifest in your health or not, is a deeper issue - a compromised immune system. Depending on the individual, a compromised immune system could manifest through all three conditions listed above (or just one,or none) as well as through an infinity of other conditions not included in this list. We post on all three because we wish to connect those who are going through the three listed above, as we have lived it and are a good resource. We also hope that doing so will help others in finding their unique paths to treatment or healing. Because, when managing chronic illness, having a sense of community, a strong support system, and invaluable resources at your finger tips is EVERYTHING. Manja!
