@askoverkill I love that little creature
I just had some thought about Lupus (from the @askoverkill AU)
It’s weird that they’re a Siffrin, right? Like, all the others we know are previous loopers (Loop being from SASAP and the Director almost definitely from ISAT, and inferring from Dusk being called kindling #50 that they came right before Dawn), and I don’t think Lupus really could be in the same way, since the Director putting them in time out during the murder game shows suggests that they wouldn’t torture a child the way they do to other Siffrins. It’s worth mentioning that Dusk doesn’t remember his loops, so there’s precedent for Lupus to have looped and forgotten, but it feels pretty unlikely with this characterization of the Director.
Also weird: Lupus’ history with Dusk from before our current loops started. If they’re both Siffrins, which the Overkill intro post lists them as, I don’t see how they’d be able to meet outside of the loops. I have a couple wild ideas for how this could happen, like Dusk was lonely in their loops and wished for someone to take care of in the next loop, but I don’t really have anything concrete. Maybe lupus actually was a previous looper and that’s where they got their “blessing” of zoning out during painful stuff and they ended their loops wanting a parent, so they met Dusk. Pretty out there, but maybe.
Also also weird is Lupus’ Craft skill. Like I know each new Siffrin has their quirks but Lupus blew someone away with only the smallest bit of effort, and I have a hunch it didn’t actually have to do with type matchups.
Lupus seems to have only bits and pieces of Siffrenness, e.g. star emblem on hat, heterochromia, white hair, etc., but doesn’t match up that well when you squint at them. At the very least, I think something is up with them
Theater kid gone wrong fr.
@askoverkill
What I imagined Loop and Lupus were doing during the. 30+ ish loops that Dawn was trying to talk to Isabeau in the @askoverkill au.
I feel like this summarizes what Loop’s talking about in @askoverkill right now.
So that last overkill episode huh
I love the goobers dearly @askoverkill
I saw this ask for the @askoverkill blog and wanted to draw it bc I thought it was a very interesting scene idea.
