(An Emily starter set around Thor 1-ish or so, for @askseductiveloki )
It was safe to say that Emily was in denial.
Most of which revolves around this place that she was now in, which there seemed to be no explanation for - its existence, that was. It was so strange, here. The mix of living like Vikings and yet having so much highly advanced technology was had to comprehend, alright. But what Emily had the most trouble really letting herself believe in, was that a lot of this place seemed to have something to do with magic. Something, which, Emily had long since given up all hope on. To her, it was something to read about. Something to dream, or to have fantasies about. That was it.
She was thinking this all over again, as she sat in the room that had been given to her, slowly brushing her hair. Brows lightly knit together, she remained silent up until her two pets - that sheâd begged Loki to help her bring here in the âstrange space elevatorâ as she thought of it - tried to get her attention.
A black and white cat that had belonged to her sister, and a black and white dog, which was actually hers. The dog, a border collie named Carole, was laying on the bed beside Emily and nudging her with her nose. The cat, Billy by name, was rubbing up against her feet. They knew that something was bothering her, but not yet what.
âI just.. I donât understand it,â Emily muttered to herself. She had been told that she herself even had powers of a sort - but even after seeing them explode when she got upset, she didnât believe it. It was just.. too much.
A slow sigh escaped her, as she got up and went to get dressed. Carole and Billy contented themselves with playing with each other, while Emily fought to get on the dress that had been left for her. In her opinion, of magic were real, she would use it to make her life easier. Not to mention, sheâd use it to heal her sister.
While fixing her dress - which was still too big - Emily thought for a little while longer. She wasnât sure what to do with her hair, so she left it down. Asgardian clothes were complicated enough, hairstyles.. well; they were beyond her.
Once she was ready to leave her room, Emily picked up her skirt a bit - as her dress was also too long for her - and opened the doors to her room. Stepping out, she began to look for Loki. He was who she spent most of her time with, even if they could never quite agree on her thoughts about magic.
She was just rounding another corner, when she ended up looking down for a moment, her dress having gotten caught on something. It was right when she looked down, that she bumped right into someone. Almost immediately, she felt she knew who it was.
âO-oh.. Iâm sorry, Loki..â she said, biting at her lower lip. âI, um.. I was looking for you. You said that you had something to show me today..?â She asked, meanwhile hoping that her face was not as pink from embarrassment as she thought that it probably was.
