A shady looking Scrafty walked down the sidewalk of a quiet street. He held up his loose, slightly saggy pants as he looked around the area. Not many people around as far as he could see, just a Slowbro with a bag around him waiting for a ride. Suddenly, a grand idea came to the Scrafty’s mind. He grinned and snickered darkly, casually making his way over to the other Pokemon. The Scrafty tapped him on the arm, to which the Slowbro very slowly turned his head around, and gave a smile.
“Well... hel...lo... there! Did you... Need... Some...thing... Sir?” He spoke in a slow, slightly deep voice. The Scrafty simply stuck his tongue out with a seemingly innocent smile. “Oh, nothin’, just wanted to take ya’ stuff is all.” The Scrafty had a stupid grin on his face as he snatched the bag away from the Slowbro, knowing he would be too slow to do anything about it, and began running off. Unsurprisingly, the Slowbro was very slow to react to this. “Come... Back... With... My... Stuff!” He shouted, and the Scrafty stopped in his tracks for a moment, seemingly complying, only to turn around and stick his tongue out at him tauntingly, before running off again, the Slowpoke being helpless to do anything.
The Scrafty didn’t look back as he ran down the sidewalk, chuckling to himself. “What a suckah! I oughta start goin’ after those slow guys more often!” His laughter grew louder, but his celebration was cut short as he ended up bumping into a Lucario, dropping the bag he stole.
“Finn! You lil’ shit!” The Lucario hissed, hopping and holding onto his bruised leg. A green Scizor picked up the dazed Scrafty and held him up by his hood with his pincers. The smaller Pokemon squirmed, trying to get free.
“Damn, that must’ve been some headbutt. And here I thought your head was full of air.” The Scizor snickered, handing Finn over to the Lucario, who promptly dragged him by his hood to a nearby alleyway and pinned him against the wall by his arms. “Ya’ brotha ain’t here with ya’ I see?” The Lucario’s face formed into a wicked grin, showing off his bare canines. “Good shit.”
Finn frantically shook his head. “W-wait! Yous don’t wanna really beat me up do ya’ Jayden?! A-after all I knows you two gotta have ANYTHING bettah tah do, right? I’m fragile, ehehehe, what’s tha point?”
Jayden growled in response. “The point is you’ve had this comin’ for a long fuckin’ time. Some of my shit went missing, you think I’d forget, ya’ lil’ shit?” The Lucario growled once more. “That, and you’re a cakewalk to pick on... What’s in the bag, Joseph?” He asked his partner.
“Hm. Seems the little runt here got himself some loot.” The Scizor flipped the bag upside down, only some money and a few personal items fell out from it. “It ain’t much though.”
Jayden huffed. “Whatevah, it’s mines now. On tah business...” Still holding Finn by the hood, his free arm reeled back dangerously. Finn shut his eyes and flinched, expecting to get pummeled by the stronger Pokemon... Suddenly, Finn felt his grip release him, and he fell to the ground on his rear.
Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a large Pangoro had grabbed the Lucario by his wrist. The Scrafty’s eyes lit up and he smiled widely, this Pangoro was no mere stranger to him. “Barett! Ya made it!”
“B-Barett?” A look of fear replaced the smug look on the Lucario, as he hesitantly turned his head to face the larger Pokemon. Before he could even get a look, he was harshly tossed into a wall by his arm, the back of his head smashing against it and he dropped to the ground, unconscious.
The Pangoro turned his attention towards the Scizor, who greeted him with a nervous wave. “H-hi there... Barett...” He gulped. Barett grabbed the Scizor’s chin, bringing their faces together. “Up to any trouble with ya’ buddy here?” He asked, glancing over to the unconscious Lucario, and his brother Finn, who was grinning wide at how the situation had turned now. The Scizor frantically shook his head no, his panicked eyes on the Pangoro’s rather large fist. Barett cracked a smile, letting go of him and patting the top of his head... Before he swung a punch across his face, knocking him into the ground. “Good. Now you two fucks get outta here and clean yaselves up. And if I catch you sweatin’ my baby brotha again, I’ll make sure you regret more than me knockin’ ya’ fuckin’ jaw loose. Got it?” He growled. “And that’s Mister Barett to you.”
The Scizor quickly nodded, getting up and rubbing his aching cheek, before going to pick his friend up off the ground and carry him off. Finn stepped up to see them walk away and made a rude gesture towards them with his middle finger. “Yeah! Ya’ bettah run! Best not ever mess with us again!” Barett simply gave a low growl, making his way to Finn, kneeling and bringing his brother over to him by his arm and inspecting him. “Are you hurt?” He asked, brushing off some dirt on him. Finn put his thumb on his chest and grinned confidently. “Psssh, those punks could nevah hurt me! I learned from the absolute best!”
Barett rolled his eyes, standing back up again. “Whatevah. You best praise Arceus that I came lookin’ for yo’ ass when I did. Startin’ to get sick of playing super hero for you. Do you even know what day it is?” He asked, crossing his arms. Finn shrugged in response.
“Vinny is out today. We’re meeting him at his pop’s place and takin’ him back to our hangout to meet everyone. Now come on. And try to stay close to me.” Barett began making his way down the sidewalk. Finn’s face lit up with excitement, and he started following his big brother.
“Fo’ real?! Sweet! Hold up!”
<<Finn and Barett are available for asks. Why don’t you let your curiosity take over?>>
AIGHHT ROCCO AND BLAYZ & HUSLA FOR THE MEME, AND BARETT & HUSLA FOR THE MEME AFTER OUR RP
Blayz -> Rocco: ❤❤“Rocco’s a bit of a... well... Okay he’s a dork but he’s a really funny one! When he’s not calling me thunder thighs anyways. He’s a good opponent and he doesn't seem like the time to hurt anyone for any random reason. I think I could trust him!”Hus.La -> Rocco: ❤“Hmmm? Rocco? Isnt he one of Blayz’s friends? The one with the scarf and goggles? I dont know him all too well but, he does seem nice! I just hope he doesn't try to eat the next Pintendo TS I give him....Or did he already try to do it again? Can someone go check?”Hus.La -> Barett: ❤❤“Mr Barett’s a really great guy! He came to my R-K’D to get a Picture and a Pintendo TS all for his daughter! I really admire people who are really responsible with their children, it always makes me smile! On top of that, he used to play Road Battler 2! That’s like, one of the best ones! Maybe I should get some RB2 Machines so we could play together... Oh! I also have to meet his brother too! And give him... a little test, so to speak, hehehehe!”
Barett had to bend his neck down a bit to look at the Lucario, rubbing his chin as he took in her appearence. “I failed history in school. But your attire makes you look like you came straight from a history book. There's old stories of a Lucario empire that existed long ago where I'm from, your attire reminds me of something they'd wear, except maybe less… Revealing.” The larger mon coughed. “Anyways… I'm curious about your origins. Or is that look of yours just apart of the job?”
[PoV: Unity]
It’s not often that others stand taller than me, for most cases it tends to be the other way around. But when the Pangoro approached me and stood two foot taller than my own self, I couldn’t help but smile at how unusual the situation is when I looked up.
However when he began speaking, his manner of speech as well as his choice of words drew my attention more than his actual height.
“Less revealing?” I repeat playfully, my smile widening into a full-blown grin. “Although I’ve never heard of Venharan culture being found in history books in other countries, I’m quite confident you may be mistaking us for another kingdom for we haven’t changed our style of attire for hundreds of years.” I place the palm of one of my hands on my chest, leaning back ever slightly. “It’s how our culture is, not including how when we brave the desert heat...it’s not much of a surprise on how little we wear~”
I laugh. “However you’re not the first one to ask about my origins, an adorable Ms. Mime beat you to the punch not too long ago.” I place a hand on my hip and widen my stance, cocking my head ever so slightly in a playful look. “However I wouldn’t mind explaining myself again, but perhaps I’ll go in a more different detail in order to educate you on our customs. That way if you ever do come to my homeland, you won’t break down into a nervous wreck due to how ‘revealing’ everyone’s clothing is~”
“Venhara is a desert kingdom, located quite a ways from here.” I begin explain, however stop for a moment when a thought occurs to me. “Now that I remember, a long time ago the clothing of Venharan woman would actually cover nearly all skin.” I shake my head slightly before continuing. “However our past rulers have started a trend of wearing less clothing for women, specifically because how men would wear less. It quickly became a sort of ‘trend’ that soon cemented itself into our culture, my own attire being a good example.” I gesture to my body with a hand. “I much prefer this decision, since the desert sun is quite hot after all. Our coat protects us from the possibility of sunburns, so the less clothing the better in my opinion.”
“Another interesting fact is how Venhara appreciates the natural beauty of the living body.” My smile shifts into a more suggestive smirk. “Funny enough, you’re somewhat correct about my outfit being related to my ‘job’. As the ‘Face of Venhara’, my job as an ambassador is to represent Venhara’s beauty. I’m setting an example of what to expect of Venhara and its people.” I wink at the Pangoro. “And I would say that I’ve been doing an excellent job, don’t you agree~?”
I don’t wait for a response from the Pangoro however. “But that’s the reason for my ‘revealing’ attire.” I continue, my expression returning back to the normal friendliness. “To our people, ‘revealing’ isn’t a term considered negative among us. So if you’re nervous with seeing skin, you’ll quickly get used to it since our people are very welcoming and understand, thus will help you ease into it.” I raise my chin, feeling my pride for my kingdom swell. “It is the greatest thing of Venhara, our acceptance towards others. It is one of the reasons why we’ve formed an alliance with the Guardians of Twilight, when they find artificial hybrids who have no place in society…we welcome them with open arms and grant them a place among our people.”
I pause, now realizing what slipped out of my mouth. “Well,” I cough awkwardly, covering my mouth with a fist. “I’m not quite sure if I was supposed to tell you that, but then again…the Guardians of Twilight are rather funny with what can and cannot be said. Nevertheless, I would appreciate if you didn’t repeat that part.”
With that out of the way I take a step back, crossing my arms just under my chest. “I do hope my brief explanation of our culture quelled your curiosity, even if I didn’t go into much detail on Venhara itself.” I chuckle. “And yet still, there’s still some things I’ve left out on our culture. But if you wish to learn more, all you have to do is ask.” I turn my head to the side, my eyes twinkling with mischief. “After all, Venhara holds no secrets~”
Sagittarius@The Dudes; The frantic bug scurries over towards the commotion she heard, pulling out a sturdy wooden staff from her cloak and preparing for battle. "W-wait, I-I can help! Wh-where are they? Where are the baddies?! I can get 'em! ...It's over? O-oh, well that's good! Ahaha... U-umm... Was that a common thing? I really hope not, but it sounded like this has happened many times before... Why does Sir Finn here get picked on so much?"
Barett and Finn looked down at the smaller Pokemon. Finn covered his mouth and tried holding himself back from laughing out loud. This little Swadloon couldn’t possibly be serious about them being any help, right? They weren’t even as big as him!Barett noticed his brother laughing, practically knowing what he was thinking in his head right now. With a low growl, he flicked Finn in the back of his head, who huffed afterwards knowing it was a sign to stop. “It’s because he’s always off fuckin’ around with somebody or something, and just look at him! He’s practically a punching bag for people to bully him.”“Gee, what a way to be supportive big bro.” Finn said, rubbing the back of his head. “Besides! I’m just trying tah have some fun is all! In the end ya’ always come to save me. Everyone’s tried, but no one ain’t evah laid a scratch on me. We’re practically invincible with you and the gang!”The Pangoro sighed, pinching his nose and shaking his head. “One of these days, i’m not gonna be there for you. And you’re gonna learn to save yourself.”
Baaba @ Barett: I doubt anyone needs to tell you that you look a little rough around the edges. Your demeanor speaks for itself in that regard. You mention that this Scrafty is your brother. If I may ask, how are you related?
“I can’t tell if that’s a compliment or not... but thanks anyways?” The Pangoro scratched his ear, looking back at his brother who was surprisingly off doing something instead of butting into the conversation.“To answer your question... He ain’t really my brother. At least not by blood. Let’s just say when he was a little baby Scraggy, his old home just wasn’t safe for someone his age... And that’s a huge understatement. When my mother found out, she took him in immediately without a second thought.” Barett looked up to the sky in thought, smiling to himself a bit. “Even before we adopted him, he always felt like an annoying baby brother to me... But not a bad one either.”
Baaba @ Berett: You say he's not that bad, but he robs others of their belongings. That may be why that emphasis was there, but isn't he giving the Dark type a bad reputation? You don't really seem like you're all that into it, so why do you think he acts this way if he was brought into a much better home than he was born into?
Barett cracked a grin, getting on one of his knees and ‘staring’ into the eyes of the Ratatta. Or at least one would assume so, since his eyes had a patch of fur or a shadow covering them. “Ya’ don’t understand, short stack. I may not seem like it too much, but me and my baby brotha… We ain’t the most law abiding people. We’re the kind of people who would rather break it.” The Pangoro chuckled darkly, crossing his arms.“And I never said our home was gonna like some happy family off of a family sitcom. But it’s much better than the rat hole he was in. He would have been dead long ago if we hadn’t taken him in…”
Okay, just so you guys know i’m not doing more of these i just
really need to do this one okay 83
This one’s a long ride oh boy~
That night was a time where she was promised it would be fun, they would go to a bar and party all night, getting wasted with strangers and simply enjoy themselves as much as they wanted. She was supposed to go with someone, and so did her brother. His date was waiting for him, hers was not. Again.
She called him oh so excitedly to remind him they were going out, only to be told he wasn’t in the mood anymore.
No, that night wasn’t fun.
“Uhm. Sis? You’re still making that face.” He commented from the passenger’ seat with a hint of concern, gently trying to cut through the thick air irradiating from her. Aware but uncaring, she didn’t bother to reply and just sighed heavily with her frown unaffected, tapping her fingers impatiently against the car’s wheel. This red light was taking unnecessary longer than usual.“You know, all you need to do is like, stop thinking about it? He’s an ass anyway! Not worth the time–”
“But i let him play me, Jake. I let him do this shit to me again.” She felt the words burn with the fire building up inside of her. Another exaggerated sigh followed, trying to let some steam out and not blow up at her brother.“Sorry. Can’t help being mad.”
“… And that’s okay!” He continued cautiously, trying his hardest to choose the right words so to not detonate Jade’s anger.“All i wanna say is, that you should dump his ass, tomorrow! Tonight, you gonna have fun.” He leaned closer as he spoke, trying to have his eyes meet with hers and pick up her now saddening expression.“Hell i say you do whatever you want! he wants go and jerk off alone at home? you go find yourself someone hotter than him and ride them ‘til tomorrow, he has no reason to stop you now. Don’t you agree?”
She giggled quietly watching Jake lazily lounge back against his seat after his ‘inspirational’ speech, holding back a shy smile.“Fine, if you put it that way hehe.”
“I’m just sayin’.“ he shrugged and smiled, content to see her brighten up. “Let’s go now, the light’s been green for a while.”
With a much relaxed tone, she chuckled and looked forward, riding along with no rush through the road.“So where is this place again?” She inspected the sidewalk, looking for the vague description of the club she was given, but only spotting a couple of pokemon hanging outside by the empty avenue.
“It’s right where those people are.” He pointed at them, fixing himself in his spot.“Must be real good inside if it’s only those two hanging around.”
“Or someone is trying to pull some moves?” She stared at the pair closely, something seemed familiar as they got closer.
“Pff- coward, what’s fun about woo-ing someone outside you do that shit in the middle of the crowd like a fucking man–” With no warning the massive car came to a halt, throwing him off mid sentence. Turning over to his sister, he immediately noticed something was not quite right.“Uhm… What?”
“Oh my fucking god…” She was frozen in place and all emotion drained from her face, eyes directly onto the couple a few meters away.
“W-what is it?” He stuttered.
“It’s him” the realization hissed through her lips, all sense of calm gone in an instant.
“Whah..” Still a bit lost, he looked over the hood of the car and to the pokemon ahead. Right away he was quick to tell, that it was Jade’s boyfriend sitting there in on the sidewalk.“Oooooh..” the more they stared the worse it got, for the Grovile has begun making out deeply with his catch.“Ooooh fuck oooooff.”
They both sat there in silence, Jake winced at the sight and grew greatly worried at jade’s own lack of reaction, her gaze lost somewhere on the car’s panel while he could clearly hear her hands mercilessly squeezing the leather decorating the car’s wheel.
“Wow.” her mouth exaggerated her almost soundless remark.
“Yeeeah. This blows…” He added quietly. Second began to drag, his body tapping and fidgeting anxiously, suddenly unable to quickly find a way to keep his sister calm.“Do you like- wanna go… Hang out somewhere eeelsse??”
“I have never been so livid before.” A breathy laugh escaped her with an odd smile stretching her lips, slight twitches pulling on her features each time she exhaled.
With fear in his widened eyes, a nervous laughs came along hers, struggling to calm his rapid breathing, he began to rant again.“Haha! Yeah, uhm, so-” Clearing his throat as loudly as he could, he did his best to calm down and pull another calming speech for his sister.“You know, t-to be honest with ya, you’re pulling this off way better than me, heh!” He continued, despite his waving voice and the pressure of her deathly glare onto him.“Like if- If I was on your spot right now, I would have like- p-probably floored it or something. I don’t know I mean, they are right there, all lined up and shit!” He gesture at her cheating mate and his date, leading her gaze back on them, then there was a quick flash in her eyes, an idea that her brother was sadly too slow to noticed in time in the middle of his talk.“So yeah if it helps to know, you’re being way more mature than me and that’s a plus–”
“Do you think… Anyone would hear it?” She asked softly, forcing him to drop his ranting.
“Wait, what? What do you mean?” It put him off hearing her being so calm so fast, was his anxious rambling so effective?
“I mean, would anyone hear you ran over someone here?” She clarified, but for him it was still plain weird. He didn’t mind her in the end, and even amused her with a direct answer.
“Well no, don’t think so? This area closes early, I think this club is the only place open around here this time o’ night.” A bit curious, he looked around them. As he said, not a soul was found.“Yep, I’d probably do it. Tho this car is really nice.. Hmm. Dunno anymore.”
“Ah.” loosing her posture, she let herself go deep in thought for a moment, until suddenly she began to adjust her arms, firmly locking them against the wheel.“Jake. Let me promise you something.”
“Hm? Whah?” He was still sadly unaware of what was about to happen.
“I promised I will repay you.” She looked at him sweetly, a hand sliding down and holding onto the gearshift.“Like I swear… I’ll make sure you get a nice car.”
It all confused him greatly for a moment, with her slight smile and lovely eyes distracting him, it took him a moment to finally piece it together.“Oh.. OH.” And like if someone strapped a rope around him and squeezed the air out of him, he wheezed and rushed over his words.“N-NO! no! this– n-NO! This is my CAR?!”
“i need to do it, Jakie.” With a unnoticeable nob, she was ready.
“NONONO JADE THERE ARE OPTIONS I HAVE A GUN??!!”
“I’m gonna do this.” Her eyes locked on her ex one last time with a malicious smile, all set.
I feel like this may have been asked before but DID YA EVER HAVE A FIRST CONCEPT OF SENAL?
Yes. She was much, much nicer at the beginning when I was still throwing around blog concepts. There was even a ref I drew with mouse which I’m way too bothered with showing now. It was pretty bad. Back then even her name was different, which I have spoken about before. It was Fe, but I didn’t like the name because it was too short.Character wise, I haven’t made many changes to her character since the start. She’s always been a bit wary of relationships but that was never really explored much in the first portion of the blog. Her old job of a message runner has kind of evolved into more, which you will see sooner or later.
