The Golurk had to look closely at this Gothitelle, since he’s already mistaken one to be a female. From the looks of the Pokemon’s facial structure and the tone of its voice, it’s safe to say that this Gothitelle is male.

“You have my thanks, lad!” He chuckles, wondering if he actually guessed correctly on the Pokemon’s gender. “I admit, I have no interest in social gatherings such as these. However there are many Pokemon here that I’ve met in the past, thus why I’m still here to begin with.”

It’s quite obvious that the Gothitelle is trying to make small talk, Tapferkeit can see that. Upon closer inspection he realizes what the Pokemon is dressed as, the shoulder sleeves and the colors play a key factor in this. “Ahhh, I see you’ve chosen the God of Space for your disguise!” He gives a nod of approval. “You are the first to have chosen Palkia, such a glorious disguise it is!”

It suddenly occurs to the Golurk that he doesn’t even know the Pokemon’s name, something that he can’t let stand. “It appears that I’ve forgotten to introduce myself!” He rumbles. “I am Tapferkeit, Crusader of the Order of the Talon!” The Golurk extends a closed fist towards the other, giving the impression that he desires a fistbump. “What is your name, lad?”

The citrus colored Lopunny noticed a brown and pink Lopunny he looked like he wanted to warm-up with a friendly fight. Blayz smiled and took a bow.“We’re both bunnies huh? Thats awesome! Teach me everything you know alright?”

(seashoreshenanigans) Sylvain @ Mercy: You know a lot about ghosts right? So, I was wondering ... do you know why Pokemon come back as certain ghosts? Is there any reason for someone ending up as a certain species?

“Yup! There is actually a correlation for why certain pokemon come back as specific ghost types!” Mercy always loved talking about this. It was always fun grouping certain ghost types and explaining why certain pokemon come back as certain ghost types. Plus it would help clear the air over what souls can actually come back as, rather than the blanket assumption that all ghosts are dead souls.

She pulled out a tablet and put her hand on the psychic type’s shoulder. “Strap in. I’m going to give you an education you cannot afford to miss!”

The gourgeist swiped against the screen of the tablet until a hologram of an image of certain species of ghosts appeared with the tagline Ghost Types that Cannot be the Souls of the Dead.

“I think the best place to start is what ghost types souls don’t become. Contrary to popular believe not all ghost types are really…spirits of the dead trapped in this mortal coil.” The scientist gave the Mr.Mime a glance to make sure they were still on board. “Some are spectral beings that either have the body consistency of ghosts or have properties such as being able phase through most solid matter.”

“These mons are gastly, haunter, duskull, dusclops, shuppet, shedinja, the frillish line, the misdreavus line, the golurk line, sableye, rotom, litwick and froslass. You may have noticed how I did not mention Banette, dusknoir, gengar, lampent and chandelure when I mentioned their pre-evolved forms. There is a good reason for that.”

The image that appeared on the next hologram showed the tagline Distortion World Ghosts. “When a living soul dies in the distortion world it tends to be horribly warped, losing the ability to pass on and becomes certain ghost types. Since dusknoirs, lampents, drifloons, drifblims and chandelures are often the common pokemon that ferry souls to after life, they tend to come back as that and are often coerced into collecting souls to bring them to the afterlife. Their reasons  for doing this job tends to vary.”

She swiped her finger again to bring up the hologram of the Tagline Emotion Based Ghosts.

“Some creatures come back as particular ghosts due to a strong emotional feeling. Banette come back if a grudge towards someone or somethingwas so great that they possess an object close to the thing they had a grudge on, or just take the appearance of the standard Banette. Gengars come from feelings of malice, mischief or a desire to cause any degree of trouble, or if the victim feels that they were the source of trouble, pain ect. The honedge line are souls that died heroic deaths, or died feeling a certain duty was not completed. Often times they are found in old medieval ruins or locations where swords are frequent.”

The next hologram to pop up was Ghosts Based off Location.

“There are ghosts that come back due to specific location where they died. The phantump and gourgeist line come back if they die in a forest location with a lot of living and dead trees, and even some normal grass types in some cases. The cofagrigus line tend to come back in either urban, or desert setting, where metal or dry soil is located. Drifloon can also come if someone dies in a location that has high elevation, namely mountains, planes exploding in mid-air and reeeeeeealy tall buildings.” She hoped she did not have to explain what an airplane was, or how one can explode in mid-air. “It is common for flying types or ones that fly really high to come back as these mons.”

“So does that answer your question?” The amount of time that it took Mercy to explain this to the poor mon never even crossed her mind. She did tend to go over every nook and cranny of certain details.

(seashoreshenanigans) Crescendo @ Grohl: So, a friend of yours is missing, right? The two of you were relatively close, I assume? What was your first meeting like, can you remember it very well?

Grohl nodded at the arcanine’s first two questions. “Yeah. We are close.” The grass type sighed, still obviously reeling from Gwen being kidnapped by Urami. “Gwen is one of the few people I would have least expected to be supportive of me, yet she has always commended me when I feel I screw up. I know she can be really rough around most people, but she can seriously be nice and cool.”

How they first met? That was a day that seemed so long ago, yet Grohl could remember it very vividly. “Well. Our first meeting would not seem like it was on any sort of good terms or anything. In fact it started off with her trying to rob me.”

—Three Years Ago—

Alright hands up now, you giant sack of shit.

“I was just coming out of an alley dumpster to get some food. I had parked my car in an abandoned lot for a mini mall that was never built. She was apparently going to take whatever money or valuables I had on hand. I had been away from Urami for a few months so I did not have much except for a car that I hot wired.”

My god. You somehow have this car, yet you have no money. This car doesn’t even have a key. You hot wire this thing?

Y-yes.

Not bad. Well if nothing else I can at least take your stereo or speakers.

“At this point, that car was all I had. So naturally I had to fight back.” Grohl gave an awkward chuckle. “My first immediate course of action was to hit her a lot with powerwhips and scream-”

As this memory resurfaced in his mind, he recalled some of the nastier details. The many signal beams and dark pulses shot at him. The detail on how Grohl hit Gwen with ancient power so many times, that by the end of the fight, it took him three hours to not accidentally break anything due to his uncontrollable strength. The most vivid part of the memory was when Gwen shot a mirror off of his car which sent him into a fury. To the grass types credit he did not want to bring these details, otherwise Gwen would have been painted in a worse light.

“So after we fought, Freddy had to step in. He managed to pin me on the ground and knock the wind out of Gwen as well.” Grohl’s expression turned oddly cheery for a moment, despite telling a watered down version of a fight that happened. Freddy had always been really cool, even when he was kicking his ass years ago. “It’s also how I met Freddy and how he gave me this job!”

—Three Years Ago—

“You sure fought her pretty well” Freddy examined the damage on Grohl’s end. The injuries were nothing a trip to the poke center could not fix, same with Gwen’s. Though Gwen was far less happy about the cuts on her head and the bruises forming on her arm and leg.

The tangrowth felt very mixed on the toxicroak’s compliments. This was just after someone under his employment had tried to rob and felt like was going to kill him. On the other hand, he had just gotten a genuine compliment! “Thank you!”

“Not to mention you seem to have a knack for cars. Tell you what. How would you like a job?” The other two mons just looked in shock, Grohl’s being more of a happy kind of shock and Gwen’s being the inverse. “R-really?!”

“And from that day on I have been working with Freddy for three years, and Gwen grew to like me a lot more. She even surprised me one day, two years after we met by buying me some new speakers and some seat covers for my car.” Grohl began to feel melancholic. “Gwen does respect me and I know that if I was in her situation, she would do the same. So I am not going to give up on her.”

Kieron continued to work on some modifications to his armor as the canine asked her question. The clone turned to look at the canine straight in the eyes. His helmet could not show his physical impression and thankfully it couldn’t. “You know. Despite being so, utterly, wrong. You actually somehow round back to being right. So congrats, you are only right by circumstance.” Smugness stabbed out of the mewtwo’s voice as his head rattled slightly.

“I was genetically bread to be a perfect all around type for combat. Physical, special, all that shit. But since I was pulled out of my generation tube too early most of those desires of my creators went straight to hell. So you could say I am a still born. That’s why I need to wear this armor. It helps my organs actually do their job.”

The psychic type raised his head in such a way that if his nose was exposed, it would be turned up. “Of course I can! I am a kick ass engineer. I am always constantly upgrading my armor. But no one lets me do anything!” Kieron threw his arms into the air out of frustration. “Leigh always go around saying she doesn’t trust me, yet she keeps Pras as her lackey!”
