All three sisters glance at Lazuli in some confusion. Silence hangs for a few seconds before the fox-like psychics turn to one another, muttering amongst themselves.

“Ninetales? Is that supposed to be this world’s version of 구미호?” Byeol pondered.

“Huhhh, I thought it was just because we had nine tails!” Ha-Nui giggled softly amidst their whispering, her ears flickering cutely. “‘Cause yeah, we DO have nine tails, hee! Is he talking about an actual creature that’s called that?”

“Hmph, a creature who’s name is Ninetales?” Yeong-Ju sniffs. “To be given such an unimaginative name, it is quite pathetic.“

Byeol let out a rather loud yawn.“I’ve never heard of this ‘Ninetales’ but it sounds so… boring.”

Yeong-Ju breaks away from her sisters and turns to the fox, her expression hard. “The answer is yes, 불법 침입자.” She replies stiffly, giving him a leveled glare. “My sisters and I are part 구미호.” The eldest adds extra emphasis to the last bit, making it clear that she dislikes being associated with the name ‘Ninetales’. 

“네! Yeong-Ju-unnie’s right! We sure are, keehee~! It’s really hard to think otherwise, right?” The Ms. Mime snickered as she bounced a bit in place, her ears and tails wafting lightly with her peppy motions.
