Black Walnut
“Less common than the standard walnut wand, that of black walnut seeks a master of good instincts and powerful insight. Black walnut is a very handsome wood, but not the easiest to master. It has one pronounced quirk, which is that it is abnormally attuned to inner conflict, and loses power dramatically if its possessor practises any form of self-deception. If the witch or wizard is unable or unwilling to be honest with themselves or others, the wand often fails to perform adequately and must be matched with a new owner if it is to regain its former prowess. Paired with a sincere, self-aware owner, however, it becomes one of the most loyal and impressive wands of all, with a particular flair in all kinds of charmwork.”
Dragon Heartstring
“As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.”

Hard Flexibility

Most wizards and witches who use magic in a more traditional way and are rigorous when taking decisions are chosen by these wands. Hard wands are usually the most difficult to adapt to the user, and the wizards and witches who succeed with these wands are of enviable determination.”
Ravenclaw — intelligent, wise, sharp, witty, individual
Ginny has always prided herself on her intelligence, particularly as compared to her siblings and everyone around her, who she sees as generally empty-headed and foolish. Though her actions and her calculations would seemingly place her more in Slytherin, she lacks the sense of tight-knit loyalty that the serpents possess towards people they hold dear. Ginny is above all an individualistic person: she’s always out for herself first and foremost, and everyone around her is only worth what they can do for her. She shows great wisdom and sharp instincts in how she handles the people around her, maintaining careful facades where necessary, knowing when to speak the truth or how to twist it so that she can never be said to be a liar. She is meticulous about covering her tracks, and intuitive toward others’ emotions so that she can find the best ways to manipulate them. Ginny has a barbed tongue which she knows how to wield more effectively than any sword, and her wit wins her “friends” and allies wherever she goes.
“The common European adder or common European viper is a venomous snake that can be found throughout Europe. Adders are not normally aggressive and tend to only bite when they are threatened in some way.”
Patient and deceptively passive, Ginny often lures others into a false sense of security with how calm and composed she always is. If angered, she will almost never strike physically, but will attack with whispers and orders behind the scenes to tear down her prey. She is the adder beneath the rose in every sense.

Boggart — Powerlessness
Ginny’s boggart would manifest as an image of herself, bound and gagged, lying at the feet of her father’s throne while one of her siblings sits in it and laughs at her, calling her useless and weak, mocking her for aspiring to more than the life her parents had planned for her. She fears powerlessness above all else—not being in control of her destiny or her life at all times, not being able to control any given situation that she finds herself in.
