Petition to change some language describing attraction
For many years we have had prefixes to describe attraction such as bi- , ply-, abro-, etc
usually when I see posts describing the attraction or the flags that go with them, people default to the -sexual suffix to represent the whole community
this is different with the a- prefix as people tend to more easily differentiate between the labels asexual and aromantic
however in other communities the difference is not always clear, as labels like bisexual/biromantic share the same/similar flags or colors, unlike asexual and aromantic
I propose that we use the suffix -attraction to describe the whole community to better differentiate between different types of attraction, and be more inclusive of those who do not relate to the -sexual attraction but rather another type of attraction
Let me know if this has already been coined! I’d love to see persons using this more regularly!
I sometimes see people just use the prefix as written above (ex: quoi- , nebula- allo-) but I think it can be a bit clunky in my opinion
So what do you think?
(For terms that end in A, I was thinking to add an N to avoid having a double a, see below)
Macroglossia is "an abnormally large tongue." This was very self indulgent as I couldn't find any flags for it
Color meanings:
• Pink for the tongue and increased upper respiratory infections
• Red for scalloped/crenated tongue aka lingua indentata and angular cheilitis
• Cream for the fact Downs and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome both use yellow for their awareness ribbons, along with representing orthodontic issues like open bite and malocclusion of the teeth
• Light blue for dry mouth, drooling, dysphagia, trouble speaking and eating
• Dark blue issues related to breathing, such as an open mouth, obstructive breathing, or sleep apnea
• Purple for Hunter's syndrome, hypothyroidism, and other conditions that can cause it
Stripe positioning is meant to mimic a tongue protruding from the mouth
Flag description:
A pride flag with two horizontal stripes on the top and a vertically striped lower section. The two horizontal bands are a medium indigo-blue stripe on top and a rich purple stripe beneath it. The lower portion is divided into seven vertical stripes. The design is symmetrical around the large pink center stripe. The colors are, from left to right: light blue, pale cream-yellow, deep muted red, a wide soft pink center stripe, deep muted red, pale cream-yellow, and light blue.

ID: a pale olive with two overlapping triangles. On the left is a black triangle, pointing towards the right. It's overlapped by a lighter gray triangle, coming from the right and pointing towars the left. In center are overlapping gray polygons. The lighter ones are semi-transparent, it makes the darker shapes beneath show through. /end ID
Grey is frequently associated with visual disabilities (link), and green on the disability pride flag represents sensory disabilities. The triangles overlapping = double vision reference.
Binocular Vision Disorder (BVD): dysfunction of binocular vision (put together by the brain with input from both eyes). BVD can cause blurred or double vision, photophobia, trouble focusing on small, faint, far away or up close objects and nyctalopia.
It often affects reading: needing to reread, skipping lines, losing track, trouble with long without punctuation. The eyes and brain have to overcompensate, resulting in head and neck tension, which can cause eye pain/strain and headaches.
Conflicting infos beteween sight and nonvisual sensory canals that sight supports can cause disorientation, vertigo, dizziness, motion sickness, trouble walking straight or frequent collisions, sensory overload, anxiety in crowds or large places.
BVD is pretty comon, though frequently missed, since it's vastly unknown. If you have ADHD and/or double vision when you zoom out, u should prob look into it.

Reposting definition from link:
Aceerotic, also called asexualerotic or aerotic for short (pronounced ay-erotic), is a term for those on the ace spectrum who are more strongly connected to sex and sexuality than what is considered typical.
Being on the asexual spectrum and having a stronger connection between sex and sexuality than what is typical (e.g., only experiencing sexual attraction after having sex with someone, preferring sexual relationships over romantic or platonic ones despite not entirely experiencing sexual attraction in the normative sense, etc.).
