One Step at a Time || aspiosflame
Karol leaned against the arch of the bridge near Dahngrest's entrance, sighing as he watched the ripples of water underneath contract and expand. He knew running a guild would be difficult on his own, and although he could always count on Yuri and the others to watch his back, sometimes he would still find a few--a lot, actually--people who took his position as guild boss lightly. After all, the members of Brave Vesperia composed of people older than him. It was no surprise he still received disapproving looks sometimes. Most of the time.
But the road didn't end here! Some have joined, some have expressed interest in joining. In actuality, Brave Vesperia appeared to be a promising guild with promising members; it helped that they were flexible with the jobs they accepted, so those who wanted to join weren't limited to a specific set of skills. If he gave up, Yuri would just go ahead and leave him behind, and Karol didn't want that.
So the next best thing to do was head on over to headquarters and organize their mission files. Karol pulled himself away from both the bridge arch and his negative thoughts, determined to focus on the silver lining. If he made a name for himself, he'd be the youngest, awesomest, super-ultra coolest guild leader in the city.
Brave Vesperia needed that kind of leader. Brave, as the name implied, and with the strength of a true warrior. But mostly, he really just wanted to make the Don proud, even if it took one step at a time.
Karol marched towards the central part of the city with new-found resolve, grin spread across his features; one that reached his eyes, then took a deep breath to carry the da--
Well, as much as he could carry whilst sprawled across the ground. He reaffirmed his determination, laughing awkwardly, then said,
"O-One step at a time... ehe... ehehehe."
