Another #lgbt self defense seminar in the books. A long time ago I was attacked for being lgbt and ended up taking up martial arts thanks to a teacher at my school. I started organizing self defense seminars and I had grown beyond my wildest expectations! As the seminar ends I was given a note and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful to be able to witness the future of my community grow and thrive. These youth are some of the bravest and most inspiring people I have met. The people I get to meet at these seminars are our future leaders and it makes me so happy and hopeful. Together we can save the world. #aspyre #ProudToBeLGBT
