This is a what if scenario question: what would Mello’s hobbies be if he had the time to explore more of himself? What would he major in college for?
oh i LOVE this! i already explored the college major thing in this post ( x ) , i think he would want to major in literature, maybe sociology. political science even. if literature, i think he'd specifically go on to be a non fiction writer writing and maintaining archives of cases like he did to labb.
for hobbies, id say long drives, writing, reading, maybe concert going, maybe even fashion like diy-ing his clothes and such. he's a very expressive person and i feel like if he had a normal life he would be very artsy with everything he does (which imo he has learnt to suppress bcs of wammy's house in canon)
also gets a seraph tattooed on his top surgery scars

still struggles with dysphoria when he's older but has learnt to handle it better
if you're his partner he's going to need assurance . a lot of it.

it's actually a oneshot! i love mellight, but my main mello fic is well... mello-centric. more on that later.
my basic plot for it was mellight hate sex. lol.
in an au where kira wins and mello is captured, light humiliates mello by making him suck him off and finds out that he may or may not have a thing for the latter and the latter absolutely hates light (especially because matt was shot down minutes prior).
also this is all happening in the Church of Light that basically functions as light's headquarters and new Capital. it's sort of a study of hatred and god complex and also torturing mello is an art form
