long time no update

All my serials on Vella have been updated with a handful of new episodes since I last posted.

Tapped For Death is up to 16 live episodes (assassin, hitman, murder mystery, thriller, romance, etc.)

Memoirs From A Bali Tree House is up to 8 live episodes (Tags = romance, age gap romance, older man/younger woman, lost in the jungle, former assassin, etc)

One Bad Hit is also up to 12 live episodes (Tags = time travel, alternate history, assassin ML, twin brothers, ancient China, etc)

Yes this is a bit of my assassin trilogy for some reason lol. The assassins are not related.

This is technically a side blog for my serial updates so i can’t follow back, but i will check out any other authors following me and reblog some story links now and again.

It’s been a while since I gave you a writing update, so... this is what I’m currently working on. I’ve been working on it since June, and I hit 50k for July’s Camp NaNoWriMo a couple of days ago. My current wordcount is 84,552, and I’m getting near to the end, although not as near as I’d like to be. I made some pretty significant plot changes in this draft, and I’d hoped to be able to make it shorter overall too, but I don’t think I’ve succeeded on that front...

Once I get to the end, I’ll be going through and cutting as much as I can, as well as polishing and cleaning it up, and I’m hoping to submit it to Pitch Wars in late August. I actually submitted an earlier draft of this book to Pitch Wars in 2016, but didn’t get anywhere with it, so maybe this draft will have more luck.

Robin  Hobb’s UK publisher HarperCollins have released a special edition of Assassin’s Apprentice to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The book is in a slipcase and features endpapers by John Howe. The edges are gilded in silver.

I was also lucky enough to snag a signed copy! Isn’t it gorgeous??

There are plans to release the other two books in the trilogy in a similar format. I will definitely be buying them!
