"Sexual attraction to people regardless of their gender. Kind of like bisexuality."
"Well that's stupid. If it means the same thing, why is there another word for it?"

@assortedtaffies followed you!
"Oh! It's you again!"
Charlie beamed, rushing to the angel to greet him with a smile and open arms. The Hotel was bustling to the brim, people checking in, moving about to their dailies, or leaving for work to return later. It was more alive than ever- and it smelled of hope, it seemed.
Or at the very least, cinnamon apple scented carpet cleaner.
"I never got the chance to thank you for your help in all of this. We couldn't have done this without you."

Abel stared at the old man for a few seconds. He tapped his fingers together. This wasn't an ideal situation for either of them. But, here they were.
"I guess so" Abel said, "just- you know...for yourself, for- for everyone."
It wasn't every day a human got the attention of heaven. At least not the higher ups. Why send Abel to keep an eye on the old man? He didn't really know.
"I- don't think you were supposed to know that I'm here..."
Rick stared at the winged guy with a raised brow. What was he even supposed to be? His features were too human for him to be Birdpeople and he had that stupid shining circle above his head. Was it a halo?
If he had to take a guess, and it wasn't even hard to do it, the other had to be from some totally clichéd version of Heaven. If it wasn't so lame, he could have almost found the idea that angels thought of him as a hazard to them funny.
"Oh, yeah? S-Sucks to be you, pal. An-And to be whoever kicked your pastel ass in my garage," he replied with a condescending snort. Then he stabbed his thumb in his chest. "I-I'm the smartest man in the multiverse. D-Do you seriously think I can't counteract something stupid as 'magic'?"
It was hardly his first rodeo dealing with mythology creatures and high fantasy.
"S-So how about you go back to your fluffy clouds or-or whatever and stop wasting my time? I-I'm a really busy guy an-and right now I have business with these motherfuckers... L-Let's say that they don't like to be kept waiting."
They also didn't like being tricked, which was exactly what the scientist was planning on doing, but that was none of the featherhead's business.
@assortedtaffies asked: For a few seconds, Abel didnt say anything. His mind was racing as he looked at the other. Something deep within him felt a connection. One he didn't have with anyone else. "Cain...?"
The vampire stops in his tracks as he hears his name. It's the voice that causes him to freeze where he stood. He'd recognize it anywhere. He'd always recognize it. Cain knew it was only a matter of time before the two of them crossed paths. He lets out a small sigh before he bends down and sets the little pig in his arms down. He tells Fat Nuggets to go and find Husk, watching him waddle away before he stands back up and turns to face his brother.
"Hi Abel."
@assortedtaffies continued from X.
“Believe me. This is not how I exactly wished to spend the next few hours either.” A low snarl of thinly veiled agitation between gritted teeth. Lute standing there in the darkness of the room with her arms folded across her chest, wings clearly prickling in irritation. “I told you to watch the door, that it locked itself every time it closed for security reasons, but no. Now who knows how long it will take for someone to find us in here.”
@assortedtaffies ;; From here.
[☄️] He looks awful and it makes Emily feel worse. Her friend shouldn't be hurting this way. He shouldn't be feeling so torn up, so broken. She wished she could heal something, take those emotions away and fix this. But she has learned that emotions are part of being human. Ensuring all Winners are happy in Heaven is her job, and that also extends to Abel. He was once human, after all.
"Abel..." she reaches a hand on to rest on his forearm, "You are good enough. I know sometimes it's hard to see that, especially with everything that has happened in your life. Everything that continues to happen even here in Heaven. You are strong and capable, but you need to take the time to feel that for yourself. It's not easy, it never is. I don't fully understand it myself...but these emotions are part of who you are, and that's a good thing."
She smiles softly, tilting her head at him. "You question everything, you make sure you're doing the right thing. That's admirable! You're a good person and you want to do good things...I think that makes you far better than even some of the highest angels. You have a pure heart..."
@assortedtaffies liked this post for a starter!
"Hey there! So...you're Adam's son?" Damn...this was awkward. In fact, she actually felt bad for him from personally experiencing how his father could be first hand.
"How do you do it? I mean...he's kind of...well...himself." The princess tried to word it as politely as possible, but there was just no denying how much of a major dick the first man was. Then again, it didn't help how Adam had treated her ideas on redemption to begin with. "And you're just so...not like that."

Oh god! He was finally waking up.
"Abel...it's okay. You're okay." Eve said calmly, although her voice started to shake a bit. She grabbed his hand, taking it into her own. How could she tell him this? "Um...sweetie, you're in the hospital. Do you remember what happened with your brother?"
The moment she saw he had seen his brother hit him, the mother had went into action, quickly grabbing her youngest son into her arms and taking him to the hospital and away from the danger.
