Help me with my mental health and transition!
hey guys! i’m not normally one to do this sort of thing, but any help with this would mean a lot to me. some of you may know about my big music dreams and my band (Radio Child), but you may not be aware of my full situation.
i’m transmasc non-binary and struggling to pass enough to be respected by others around me, which has lately been taking a huge toll on my mental health, as i have been consistently and deliberately misgendered and disrespected by people i have worked with. it’s made me extremely hesitant to take the steps forward in my career that i would like to take.
i would like to be able to start therapy and take steps towards physically transitioning, but me and my mom are barely scraping by as it is, and we’re doing it without health insurance too.
i know it’s an awfully big goal, but i’d like to be sure i can afford the hormones i’ll most likely be taking along with being able to pay for my therapy for a while. ANY amount donated would mean so much to me, and if you show me that you donated i’ll even doodle a little something for you!
