I spent some time over the past few days reflecting on intentions I would like to set for myself. Not just for the year, but in general, especially since I’m going through a few life changes at the moment. One that stood out the most was “Guilt-Free Receiving” . It may not seem like it on Instagram, but I’m an introvert. I keep to myself a lot and I hardly ever ask for help. And it’s mainly because I have a tendency of associating asking or receiving help as a sign of weakness. And when I do receive help or a stroke of good luck, I always feel the need to justify it and internally measure if I truly deserved it. So most times, possibly through the lack of self worth, I end up feeling guilty for the things I have and have received. . These are mindsets that I would like to change. . So I’ll start today by putting it out there: It’s okay to ask for help and to offer help - they are both equal acts of strength and courage. And it’s also okay to accept and simply be grateful of everything that comes my way - all the blessing and good fortune - they have no association with my self worth. 🙏❤️ #practiceyogachangeyourworld . . . . . #upwarddog #vinyasa #openheart #heartopener #yogabackbend #backbend #januarybackbendfun #ashtangayoga #ashtanga #asthangi #intentionseeker #2018intentions #yogaeveryblessedday #iamenough #practiceandalliscoming #yogalove #yogagirl #yogalife #loveandalliscoming #selflove #yogainspiration
