She stays frozen in the doorway for a moment, staring at Maze and her absolute audacity. “What the hell are you doing?!”

At first glance, she isn’t sure if a single damn thing is still where she left it. Shit. Tyler darts across the hotel room, swiftly grabbing a notebook from under her pillow and clutching it protectively to her chest, glaring daggers at the woman. “You can’t just— What is wrong with you?!”

When Rebekah had asked if anyone wished to go the mall with her at breakfast that morning, the blonde had never actually expected any of her brothers to agree. Elijah was too much of a snob to ever buy a suit off the rack, Klaus hated the crowds, Kol was still abed at the time, and Finn...well, Finn had never availed himself to any of their plans growing up. How was she to know that he'd actually say yes this time?

Heaving a sigh at the elevator lurched and ground to a halt, the Original shook her head in mute response to her brother's semi-sarcastic question. "No, brother. This is not how elevators are meant to function. Glad you've noticed," she drawled, her voice just as dry. "Now make yourself useful and see if that red emergency button over there works while I try and figure out if my phone has any reception, won't you?

       3,  2  ,  1,  as  if  exactly  on  cue  her  phone  rings,  the  sound  echoing  around  the  car.  She  glances  over  at  it  from  where  it  rings  in  the  passenger  seat,  her  brows  furrowed  and  body  language  tense.  She'd  text  him  as  a  courtesy,  not  wanting  him  to  think  she  was  abandoning  them  once  again,  (  though  arguably,  she  is,  in  a  way  ),  not  to  be  interrogated.  Her  jaw  tenses  and  she  swallows  the  lump  in  her  throat.  She's  not  sure  she  can  lie  to  him  for  long  if  she  picks  up,  but  she'll  regret  it  if  she  doesn't.  After  all,  she  cannot  ghost  them  forever.  .  .  can  she?   History  would  suggest  not  but  900  years  of  radio  silence  is  plenty  to  argue  that  fact.  "  Fuck!  "  she  grumbles  loudly  to  herself,  hand  snapping  up  the  phone  from  the  passenger  seat  and  sliding  the  bar  across  to  the  green  icon  to  answer  the  call.   "  I  text  you  as  a  courtesy,  not  for  an  interrogation  so  if  you  don't  mind  I  have  more  pressing  matters  to  attend  to  than  play  a  hundred  questions.  "With  that,  she  hangs  up,  shuddering  a  breath  as  the  phone  drops  from  her  hand.

While she and Mazikeen had a ... prickly relationship to each other, she also knew that Trixie adored the woman. Chloe could really use Maze's help.

"Hey... I have to ask you something, and it's pretty last minute," Chloe began, her desperation clear in her words, "but Trixie's baby sitter just called in sick last minute. I could really use your help and Trixie adores you..."

it  was  no  secret  that  rupert's  car  before  this  shiny  new  one  was  on  its  last  leg  and,  frankly,  dangerous  to  drive  around  in.  but,  it's  also  not  a  secret  that  he  had  chosen  this  car  for  specific  reasons  such  as  a  newer  version  and  'i'm  not  as  old  as  you  all  make  me  seem'.  of  course,  the  whole  new  shiny  version  of  himself  he  was  attempting  to  outwardly  portray  wasn't  exactly  fooling  anyone,  least  of  all  himself.  he  didn't  exactly  enjoy  the  way  this  car  drove,  despite  it's  seductive  appearances  and  lusty  crimson  color.  he  wanted  something  else,  more  his  real  style,  and  that's  why  he  thought  about  giving  it  to  dawn  once  she  achieved  her  driver's  license.  he  didn't  want  to  tell  her  yet,  though,  he  wanted  to  keep  it  as  a  surprise  to  her.  he  should  probably  consult  with  buffy  first  and  foremost,  after  all.

he  sat  back  in  his  seat  and  forced  himself  not  to  be  a  backseat  driver,  keeping  his  eyes  focused  on  the  road  and  keep  his  breathing  under  control.  his  eyes  rounded  out  in  fear  when  his  car  suddenly  jolted  forward  when  she  let  go  of  the  brake  too  fast.  he  braced  himself  with  the  door  handle  as  he  slowly  looked  over  at  dawn.  he  shook  his  head  lightly,  ❛  dawn,  please,  language  ...  ❜  he  stated  softly,  clearing  his  throat  nervously.  he  expected  hiccups  from  her,  so  he  kept  his  thoughts  to  himself.  he  chuckles  gently  under  his  breath,  ❛  yes,  well,  it's  beginning  to  get  on  my  nerves,  quite  frankly.  m'  glad  you're  enjoying  it  more  than  i  have.  ❜

It wasn't a normal cry for help that caught Buffy's attention, but rather someone screaming a litany of swear words. It still raised red flags. The blonde ran towards the voice, expecting to find her in an alley, but instead, it was out in the open. Two vampires had a woman in leather pinned against the wall of a building next to a storefront window. "You people just don't care who sees you anymore, do you?" She called out to the two vampires.

The two vampires yelled "slayer" and ran to attack them, but she caught them by surprise and after a brief fight with them, she staked them both. She turned her attention back to the admittedly badass-looking woman. "You okay?" she called out to her. She approached her as she continued talking. "I'm just gonna assume that you were caught off guard because you don't look like you're much for the damseling."

People say 'audacity' to Faith a lot, as if she's going to magically know what it means if you shout it at her head or something. Okay, so she's not that damned dim, but the word doesn't quite fit her --- not to her liking, at least. She smirks, resting against one shoulder and giving this feller a little stink eye from a large, elaborate crypt's sculpted marble doorway, "I was gonna go with 'bodacious', but hey." she slowly pushes off the door frame, out into the cemetery, and starts walking towards him. "Hear you're the asshole to end all assholes. Kinda wanted to see for myself."
