Astrid Grimsdottir was gifted ... or perhaps she was cursed. In all her thousand and some years, she had yet to decide just what to categorize her ability under. On the one hand, her foresight allowed her to see the progress of her beloved Asgard and allowed her to see the splendor and joy that would succumb her life. It allowed her to be able to serve her kingdom directly, the daughter of a former Asgardian soldier being selected to be a close advisor to the Allfather due to her ability to see the futures to come. In that way, her sight was surely a blessing, a gift given to her and her alone.

But one the other hand, it gave her the unfortunate opportunity to see more death and destruction than even the most war hardened soldiers had seen. She would see bloodshed and chaos, disarray and disease befalling people of worlds she had never even traveled to herself. Her sight was unpredictable, no vision the same as the last. Sometimes they would unfurl for her as a play, showing her things that she focused heavily on, showing her the lives of people and things that she held dear to her. Other times they would come to her in fractured patterns, showing her blips and fragments of people or events that she had no business in witnessing or foretelling. In that way, her sight was most surely a curse.

Astrid Grimsdottir was not sure if she was gifted or cursed, but she knew that whatever it was, the sight was ultimately a flaw in her code that she tried her hardest to wield for good. You see, Astrid believed that everyone — whether Asgardian, Vanir, or even Midgardian — was plagued with a fatal flaw. And with that belief, she refused to let something that made her who she was become that fatal flaw and lead to her downfall. But the thing was, Astrid had already acquired a fatal flaw along the years that she lived, one so potent that it had the potential to destroy her from the inside out. And it came, with all of its destructive fatality, in the form of her love for the one person she trusted the most.

AH MY MARVEL BABIES. I have a series of 9 OCs plus another Marvel OC who’s not connected lol. Also this is so long and I apologize but jfc I have so many kids lmao

So first, there’s Gabriela Corona (fc: Emeraude Toubia), who’s basically like the Tony Stark of my series in terms of her being like,,,the start of it all. She’s a wealthy socialite who ended up getting involved with Oscorp through her father and ended up in a lab accident which gave her electricity manipulation powers. She spent like two years running around New York known as the vigilante Electroshock before she was approached for the Avengers. She’s also a love interest for Steve and it’s . very much so an opposites attract relationship.

Then there’s Emerson Lane (fc: Olivia Munn), who’s a SHIELD agent that’s known mostly because her father was this bigwig agent back in the day. Her story starts a little bit before IM2 and she’s a Natasha OC that ends up getting paired with Nat on a longterm undercover operations and it’s a very spy thriller James Bond kind of story.

Lydia Sinclair (fc: Alicia Vikander) is another one of my SHIELD agent OCs and she had a run-in with the Winter Solider fairly similar to the one that Natasha talked about in TWS. Basically at the end of TWS she volunteers to help Steve hunt down Bucky because she’s sorta got her own things she wants to find out about him, so her story’s basically her galavanting around Europe looking for Bucky. 

Seraxa Quill (fc: Felicity Jones) and Talia Arcanus (fc: Jamie Chung) come in pretty close together, both GotG OCs. Sera’s not biologically related to Quill (she’s actually from Xandar), but she was basically raised alongside him in the Ravagers and she goes by the name of Menace and she’s sorta like a female Peter Quill sometimes to be completely honest (she’s a love interest for Gamora). And then Talia is from this tiny speck of a planet that got basically obliterated and she’s the only survivor who manages to put out a distress call that the Guardians answer.

Nikolina Belikova (fc: Melissa Benoist & my Wanda OC) comes next. She gets involved in Strucker’s experiments when Wanda and Pietro do and she’s the only one who survives besides the twins. She gains the powers of flight and super strength (because her fc is Melissa so I was like lmao lemme take advantage of the gifs). Her alias is Atlas and her story is mostly just like trying to adapt to her new abilities, the loss of her family and friends, and like life as an Avenger.

After Nik comes June Albright (fc: Amanda Seyfriend), who’s basically me trying to get some damn fluff out of this fandom. She’s a medic at the new Avengers facility who catches the eye of Sam Wilson and they’re basically just this happy little domestic relationship.

Joelle Sommers (fc: Katherine McNamara) comes after that and she’s my Peter Parker OC. She’s 100% not looking to be a hero so naturally she ends up in a lab accident that gets her the ability to teleport. A mishap in Queens lands her gaining the attention of the media and the nickname of Reappear, which she hates. She gets picked up by Stark at the beginning of CW and it’s funnt because her and Peter are neighbors so they’re like HOLD ON YOU’RE SPIDEY/REAPPEAR”

The last of my series is my smol Camila Moreno (fc: Sofia Carson), who’s Jo’s best friend and a love interest for Ned. She’s basically a know-it-all perfectionist who’s kind of bitchy, but her and Ned are wicked soft and I just love soft stories man.

My Loki OC, Astrid (fc: Emilia Clarke), isn’t part of my series, but she is a Marvel OC lol. She’s a seer who’s basically an advisor for Odin and her and Loki are together pre-story so her and Loki basically have a love story that goes backwards because they start falling apart around Thor and it’s just a giant downhill slope from there. The theme of this story is heavily influenced by Hades and Persephone, because Loki’s sort of the dangerous villain and Astrid is this pure little flower.
