Astro Fanmeet

Hey guys I thought I’d make a post about my experience because I really want to tell all y’all about it???

It was such an incredible experience, honestly. They performed 8 songs which is actually really great!! And on the set list is says Breathless but they surprised us and performed Hide and Seek instead. I was so happy about that because I really wanted to see them dance to that. I filmed some things like Baby and CSC, and most of their games. My arms got so tired haha. I’m 5’1 and even tho there was a little step up to our seats, the girl in front of me had her robong pretty high 😅 but I did my best!

The games they played were “what’s in the box,” “body language,” and then they did a quick dance to the song being played game. Gashina and Bang Bang Bang were the two songs they danced to. I think they cut this short because Moonbin especially wanted to dance to more. Hyung team won what’s in the box with guessing tapioca pearls (bubble tea/boba) and I don’t even know what Dongsaeng team had but they got it wrong and the punishment was tickles. I have a video of Sanha screaming I love him. The second game of body language was where the MC held up a song and one person in a pair had to dance, one person had to guess. It was separated by oldest, middle, and youngest, and Sanha and Rocky won. The punishment for the losers was a sexy pose and oh my god did we lose it.

Overall I really enjoyed this concept of the fanmeet. It was pretty intimate, the novo is a smaller theater and there was not an empty seat at all. In the introductions, almost all of the members were worried about there not being many fans but we definitely proved them wrong! We showered them with so much love last night and I really believe they felt it all.

The group photo was interesting, tho. Some of my friends were separated from the group because they called 8 and didn’t allow us to stick together. As I was walking to my seat I had up hearts for the members. I said 사랑해 and did a little bow and JinJin had the biggest smile on his face. We made eye contact and he was so happy to see me I’m not sure why but like his smile grew so wide when he saw me giving him hearts and saying 사랑해. Rocky gave me a quick smile, and Moonbin and JinJin gave me back hearts. When I stood in front of Sanha I actually froze. I had a smile on my face and hearts in my hands and I managed to get out a cute little 사랑해 and he smiled and said it back to me. I sat down and we took the picture and I looked up at Sanha again and froze, again, and he threw up hearts and I stumbled out “I love you Sanha!” Before being directed away. I made eye contact with MJ too and we smiled but he knew I needed to keep walking. I didn’t make any eye contact with Eunwoo but maybe that’s better for my heart lmao. I’m really excited for the photo to be posted!

Seeing Astro perform live is an incredible experience. Watching the videos from music shows does not compare to seeing it right in front of you. They’re incredible dancers, all of them, and they didn’t lip sync. I wouldn’t have minded if they did because wow dancing your complicated routines AND singing along??? Holy shit. They weren’t breathy or anything it was all really smooth. I’m so proud of our boys. They really did an amazing job and I’m so glad they’re taking us on this journey to following their dreams.
