People are so miserable oml. Why do you get SO worked up about someone else's hobby when it has nothing to do with you??? 🙄

People who listen to music as a hobby talk about it ALL the time. People who play video games as a hobby talk about it ALL the time. So why wouldn't people who are into astrology also talk about it ALL the time, or at least often.

Like, it makes me so scared to even mention my hobby to new people I meet because I'm scared of being judged. This is getting really ridiculous. Just because you don't have your own hobby doesn't mean you have to bash others' hobbies. I've even seen people who were getting worked up about others reading FICTION BOOKS. FICTION BOOKS. Like, why do y'all care? Genuinely, why do y'all care??

People try to defend astrology by saying criticizing it is hating poc/the gays/women, and I'm over here like:

as a biracial bisexual woman, my heterosexual white father used to insult and belittle me based on my zodiac sign; and also my real life symptoms of having ADHD and the resulting struggles were also written off as merely the quirky result of my birth star chart that made me so ditzy and scatterbrained —rather than getting me treatment, or help, or doing things other than scream at me for forgetting something — because of course I would be hopelessly "like that," because of the planets, not to mention I have such a DIFFICULT and mercurial sign for other people to have to deal with, naturally a lot of them will just dislike me because ugh, that sign—
