Maybe this was a bad idea. Mary Kate had, in fact, told her that creating drinking games to avoid your feelings at a wedding was definitely a bad idea, but Leilani wasn’t always the best at listening. Besides, the game wasn’t about her feelings -- it was about Will and Blake, and everyone else celebrating the love the two of them shared. Whatever was going on inside of Lei’s own heart was so not relevant at the moment.

And so, as the toasts to the two grooms began, she scooted over to make room on her chair, waving towards Waldo and patting the spot next to her to indicate that he should come join her and play the game they’d created. Her smile was maybe a little too bright, and her heart was maybe beating a little faster than it should with anticipation, but Leilani ignored that, deciding there was no way she was letting anything go wrong at this wedding. Wedding-ruining was a thing of her past, and enjoying herself with the people who made her happiest was a thing of her present.
