I finished chapter 54...or did chapter 54 finish me?

I don't know what to say, what to think.

Excuse me... WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?

You're telling me someone shot Avery in the middle of the night and immediately afterward Jameson and Avery kissed PASSIONATELY? AND I CAN SAY THAT, EVEN THOUGH I WAS SCARED TO DEATH FOR AVERY, when she kissed Jameson I didn't stop screaming the entire time.

Finally. It's about time, guys!!!!

But then I finished the chapter and I was left wondering, guys...come on, I can't believe Jameson thinks it's all a game, I don't want to believe it... 😭😭😭

Now I'm seriously scared to continue... but HYPOTHESIS!!

I think Rebecca shot Avery and Toby is clearly still alive. Also because Skye keeps repeating that he's "missing," and I think she knows something... Skye has something to do with all this, too.

OH YES I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT XANDER AND THEA WERE ENGAGED!!!! How did Xander put up with her??!! HAHAHA

WHATEVER.

Hard Drive Failure...?

Quite honestly, Emily and I have been wondering how we had been so lucky with our hard drives and storage over the course of the past year when it came to this project. I guess it goes without saying that inevitably, a few days before the submission is due, it was bound to happen.

As of last night, Emily’s external hard drive experienced a partial failure which prevented us from using any of the files on it. Luckily, the project file that we had been working on was saved to her local flash storage, and we have plenty of backups of everything else.

What does this mean for the project?

Absolutely nothing, other than a whole lot of panicking on our end until we were able to get in contact with one of the two people that had our files backed up on a hard drive that was formatted for a Mac. (My hard drive is formatted for a PC, but files don’t play nicely if they’re larger than 4GB, between system types.)

We’re transferring all of the backed up files onto a new drive, and the editing resumes tonight as we near our final product! (We’re submitting the file tonight, hopefully.)

Thanks so much everybody! I’ll be here in the corner sobbing into my Panera Bread Bowl for the next few minutes as we calm down from the panic.

A Story Without Words — Directors’ Remaster

The story goes back, April 10th, 2015... featuring new scoring, improved audio, visual re-edits, and an addition to the ending of the film.

Each year, Emerson College students submit the works that they have created to compete against each other in the college's annual film, television, theatre, and writing awards, titled The EVVY Awards. Over the course of the past month, we have been doing minor visual edits and (major) audio edits to our original project in preparation for us submitting to the awards.

The remaster will be uploaded on April 10th, 2015 for the public to view.
