"Asystole is when your heart's electrical system fails entirely, which causes your heart to stop pumping. It is also known as “flat-line” or “flat-lining” because of how your heart's electrical activity appears as a flat line on an electrocardiogram."

I've been having a bit of a spooky moment health wise since yesterday. My blood pressure seems to be dropping randomly throughout the day, which makes me very nauseous and dizzy and I have no clue as to what is causing it.

Earlier today I was at the library and had to call my husband to pick me up and I felt like such a burden... When I got home, we ate and I fell better but after an hour or so it happened again.

Frustrated I decided to take a bath and put one of my favorite artists on. I played the album FLOWERS for VASES by Hayley Williams from the top and when the song "Asystole" came on - my favorite from the album - I submerged myself in the bath and listened to it like it was the first time again. I cried and it felt great to do so.

I feel like this will literally not matter for anyone and nobody will even bother to read this, but I guess if I wrote it it means it's supposed to exist out of me

Usually referred to as “cardiac flatline,” an ‘asystole’ is the state of total cessation of electrical activity from the heart, which means no tissue contraction from the heart muscle and therefore no blood flow to the rest of the body. Asystole is the most serious form of cardiac arrest and is usually irreversible.

A more abstract edit inspired by Vincent's Vase of Daisies and Poppies from 1890, and of course it was necessary to go back to FFV for this. I always think of Asystole if I need a song to use. I tried to go follow the color palette, a light green background with white on the bottom with dark green and red throughout. Hayley's eye signify seeing the devotion from within, dripping like red wax or falling flowers like tears running down your cheek. Ripping through layers to see better. I used the flowers from the painting and placed them in similar positions they're in there. Burning or ripping through paper to better see what's underneath.
