Surely Pluto knew what would happen better than even the stars — therefore, she could and should be trusted.               ❛ Sorry, sorry. I just… don’t think fate knows what it’s doing. But I’ll trust you, Setsuna-san. Mamoru would be upset if I didn’t come back to him willingly, and I don’t feel like making him sad. ❜

There had been a time, when a young princess had visited the Doors of Time and Space. However, that moment was long past; at least ten thousand years ago, by the reckoning of the Goddess that guarded the Chronos Gates. Selenity had been Princess, friend, and lover to her then, but Pluto had accepted that -- like all things in her endless existence -- it would someday end. Now, her visitors were none unless they challenged her guardianship of this domain. Well, perhaps... not quite none...

princess serenity had always been told not to venture down the long hall, but she often found herself doing the opposite of what she was told. this day was no different. she slowly made her way down the hall, her fingers trailing along the intricate designs. as she finally inched towards the door, she felt herself get a little anxious. the princess put all her weight against the large door as she pushed it open. “ hello ? ”

“Setsuna-san, I’ve got something for you,” Michiru said in her sing song voice as she came up behind older woman who was currently lounging on their couch and wrapped her arms around the tanned beauty’s neck. Just as Setsuna turned her head to ask what the surprise was Michiru surprised her with a quick peck on the lips, smiling into the kiss before pulling back and resting her chin on Setsuna’s shoulder.

Gently knocking on the door to the guest room -- Setsuna understood that Michiru couldn't stand to be in what was now only her room -- the older Senshi balanced the tea tray on her hip to open the door. Even if the aquanette didn't wish to eat, the Time Keeper refused to allow her to not drink. Wordlessly, knowing that her sister-in-arms wouldn't respond, the taller woman settled the tea tray on the nightstand. Sittling on the bed, the garnet-eyed soldier reached out to touch Michiru's cheek.

Michiru rolled over in deep and sighed as she heard the faint knock on the door. She didn’t need the Deep Aqua Mirror to know who was on the other side. Setsuna had taken it upon herself to make sure that Michiru didn’t follow her wife and unborn child to death by self imposed starvation. Although she wasn’t sure why the oldest senshi bothered with her. Their mission was over, there was no use for her anymore as a solider. Or as a wife. Or a mother. All of that had been viciously ripped away from her. She blinked back tears as a stream of light from the hallway filtered into the room as Setsuna entered carrying the usual tea tray. Michiru closed her eyes as Setsuna reached out to her and let her finger tips brush against Michiru’s cheek. 

“That time of day again, Setsuna?” she said, her voice weak from disuse in the past few weeks.

Michiru thought for a very moments before responding. “In my opinion you’re a Gryffindor. You have a very strong sense of duty and honor and will fight till the end for your cause. You are also fiercely loyal and compassionate towards the people you hold dear. I think you have a few Ravenclaw like tendency’s as well, like being extremely smart and practical and while you aren’t out loud and brash as some other Gryffindors, Hermione is a perfect example of the kind of Gryffindor I see you as.”
